However it can NOT be used online and does have an expiration date that is like 7 years from now. If you are interested, have any questions, or would like more info, just let me know and we can work something out. If anyone is really interested please pm me your email address and I will send you a paypal invoice...I will then ship the item via express mail, so that you will have a tracking number. I am not tring to argue with you I just think it is odd that we are kinda doing the same thing and we are both quoted two different things. I already had a price breakdown for me, we agreed to it and I do not see how they could change it back if we have proof from the email... I just wanted to let you know. -

( Pearl Package is USD2400.00 for 8 persons and USD20.00 for attendees over 8. (2) Private Reception: (a) Caribbean Package - private reception is an hourly venue rental fee of USD100.00 per hour. ( Pearl Package - private reception is USD45.00 per person (we are removing an hourly charge and introducing a per person fee) Hypothetically speaking, if we are working with 36 persons, the cost for the wedding plus the reception would be: - Caribbean USD3500.00 - Pearl USD4280.00 So, the Caribbean package would actually work out cheaper in the end. Let me know what you think! Nina Morales-Lewin Wedding Manager The Point, Lucea Hanover Jamaica W.I. Phone: (876) 619-0000 * 633-9900-9 (ext: 8251) Fax: (876) 620-0001 www.fiestahotelgroup.com" That is so weird she told me that she would still honor the 100per hour for the private dining area because we already booked that. But I could switch to the Pearl package to save money. I would ask her about that. I made her write me an email with the cost breakdown so even if they try to switch things when we get down there they wont be able to, I have it all in writing. So by switching we are saving about 200 and gaining a lot more amenities with the Pearl package. Where are you having the private dining venue at? -

I just talk to the WC and she said it is cheaper to book the pearl package with the amount of people we are having so anyone that booked the Caribbean package might want to take a look at the new thing the pearl package has to offer, and see if changing to the pearl might be a good idea for you too. -

The elegant beach dinner had two menus to choose from and it was served in the Poseidon restaurant, that's what you should have been getting with the Caribbean package (according to the wedding booklet). I'm still waiting to hear back what the extra price per person was for the other 2009 packages (please share with me if you know) but it's seeming like the new 2010 packages might be a better deal at $20pp. So confused as to what's the best choice now, hopefully we'll get it all ironed out this week. Klhoe - when is your wedding there by the way?? We where thinking about doing the golden love package, it just seemed like more to do, but a great way to save lots of money. I do remember the dinner packages, its a bit confusing, but as I understand they do not have them anymore, If you are having a private dinner you are only allowed to pick you appetizer, soup or salad and two dinner entrees from any of the restaurant and they where charging 40 pp over 8 for that. But we booked before that rule was in affect so we are only charged 300 to book the blue lagoon for the night, which I am very happy about. Or you can have a non private dinner for your reception and not pay the 40 pp over 8. Phycia is allowing us to change to the Pearl package and save us money. The price before was 50 pp over the 8 for the Caribbean package but I am unsure what the price was before for the Golden package, you might want to call or email Phlycia for better detail, let me know how it works out for you We are getting married on May 13, 2010, but we will be arriving May 10 and will be staying until May 25. Its been good talking to you hope we figure this all out soon -

I wanted it earlier so that we could get some nice sunset pics after the wedding. We are going to suggest to the guests to go to one of the bars for cocktails while we are taking pictures and we will meet them there after. We have booked the Blue Lagoon from 7-10. We were going to rent the speakers and microphone until they quoted us a price of 500 to rent them....which is more than the Blue Lagoon rental(300)! We are now considering bringing a portable speaker system with us but we are just ironing out all the problems/issues that may arise with that. After the Reception we are planning on going to the Infinity Lobby Bar where they have Live music every day 9:30pm - 12:30pm.....at some point we are going to head to the Disco too they are open from 11:00pm – 2:00am. I do have a nice white dress I could change into if I've had enough of the bridal wear, that would likely happen on our way to the disco Will cross that bridge when it comes I guess. Thats kinda what I was thinking, with the whole dress situation, I was just wondering what everyone was gonna do. I have some pics from when we visited the resort last may I just need to figure how to upload them to this site.

Nina has not answered me back yet if I can change to save money....What is the "elegant beach dinner" I dont know if I know anything about that. We are just doing the menu from the Jamaican restaurant, but reserved in the blue lagoon. -

Ok girls, I talked to the WC yesterday and she said she would keep everything the same for me with the caribbean package but, I was doing a little more research and I think that the Pearl package would be cheaper than the Caribbean package anyway. I know it starts with an additional 400 dollars but the pp price is 20 with the pearl as opposed to 50 with Caribbean package. So we are having about 25-30 people so that additional money really adds up -
Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the site. Im still tring to figure this all out. Lov2Sun, Sounds like we are doing the same things...our wedding is at 5 o clock at the gazebo instead....we originally where thinking about going to the beach but it is very public and I did not want a lot of people in there swim suits staring at us, the gazebo is very private with no one around it just seemed like a better fit for us. But we are also having 27 people at the wedding, then we are gonna do some pic with everyone and send them to miss lous bar, its my far the nicest bar, then Eric and I are gonna do more pics and meet up with them for dinner. We are doing dinner in the blue lagune and after dinner we are gonna had a show with fire eaters and dancers, after we will do cake and head up to the bar with the live band, followed by the disco. Quick question Are you ladies gonna stay in your dress the whole night, or are your gonna change and if so when?
