  1. I see both sides of the argument, but I would vote for sending invites. Even though you sent everyone a STD, people expect invitations, and I would hate for some family member to think you didn't want him/her at the wedding because they didn't get an invitation. I've never come across anyone who was offended by receiving an invitation. Sending an invitation will also encourage those who want to come to go ahead and book their rooms.
  2. That is really cute! Maybe I will do that for my FI's next deployment and send to him in a care package.

    New Bride!

Welcome! You'll find so many more awesome things here!
  8. I try to mix up my exercise. I get tired of doing the same routines every day, so I try to walk 3 or so days a week and then mix in stuff from ExerciseTV on the others. Cindy, I'll have to try those slimfast bars. They sound yummy. I bought Yoplait Chocolate Raspberry Parfaits tonight to curb my chocolate craving.
  9. I bought my shoes, earrings, and sparkly headband today.
  10. Congrats Jenny! Eliana, that vegetable frittata looks awesome! I'm going to try to make it this week. As for the "guilty pleasure" to give up for the week, my family tried twice this weekend to go out for Mexican, but I didn't give in!!!
  11. Hi MediPea! I know several couples where both are in the military, so I can imagine how tough it will be planning your wedding while deployed! Good luck, and know we're always here for support!
  12. My fiance only cares about parts that are "interesting" such as the food and the band. I think he could care less about invitations or centerpieces.
  13. Natasha, you and your family will be in my thoughts. *hugs* sunstarsmoon, 5.5 pounds is freakin' awesome! Eliana, 3 pounds is great too!!! Let me go weigh myself. I hope I lost something!
  14. I'm happy because it is my Friday! No work tomorrow!
  15. Go ahead and register, especially for the people who cannot attend your wedding. I didn't even think anyone would throw me a shower, but a friend told me this week she would like to do it, so I'm glad I registered!
  16. The Other Boleyn Girl: Natalie Portman

I wonder if I can talk my fiance into something like that!
  18. So, with tomorrow starting week 2, how about a challenge? I was thinking that everyone could pick their biggest "guilty pleasure" food and see if they can go the whole week without it. Anyone want to try it with me? I'm going to go without Mexican food, either at a restaurant or at home. No yummy tortilla chips for me!
  19. Walked 2.3 miles, did 100 crunches, and a bunch of pushups and squats

I try my best to not nap, no matter how tired. I always feel AWFUL after I nap, and I never want to do anything.
  21. Your wedding pictures are beautiful! Congratulations on it all!
