I say go for it, especially if it is something you are doing on the side anyway. You might as well get paid for it. Start out small, and if you end up getting a lot of work, then maybe you can shift to that as your main focus. Good luck!

I would check and try to get approvals ASAP. My FI is in the Air Force, and I know this has been going on for a long time because we have considered going on a cruise at some point but have totally decided to not go near Mexico because of the ban. I personally wouldn't let something like that stress me out. I think it could be so much worse, especially if she picked some awful ugly dress! If she didn't explicitly know she shouldn't wear that color beforehand, then I would just let it go. Trust me, that is the last thing you'll be thinking about as you walk down the aisle!
