Most fun things ended up revolving around eating. After we broke up, I realized I had been doing so much to please him that I had not focused on how miserable I was with my body. I was so afraid of being rejected if I asked to sit at home instead of going out, and I ended up gaining a ton of weight! When I finally realized that I needed to focus on myself, I joined Weight Watchers and started working out, and I lost about 55 pounds. I've been going up and down 10-15 pounds for the last three years or so, so now it is time to get that last bit off.
  5. Congratulations! Can't wait to hear more about your plans!

  7. Congratulations! I would narrow down a spot and start calling TAs to try and get stuff settled! Trust me, I know how planning around the military goes, so good luck with all of your planning!

  12. Welcome to the forum! I totally understand wanting something more private where others won't watch you. Check out the Riviera Maya section and see what some of the other girls have done. Happy planning!!!
  13. Congratulations on your engagement! Just read through some of the threads, and I'm sure you'll find a nice place to have your wedding! Happy planning!
  14. I also think pink would look nice! A pretty yellow could go nicely as well.

There is a book called Fast Food Nation that I had to read in college that discusses the additives that they put in food to make you crave more fast food. For instance, there is something put in many fast food french fries that makes you want a hamburger... 16. Wow, we've got a lot of people! Awesome!
  17. Welcome Pink Petals! I'm so excited for all of our weddings!
  18. My fiance just bought a giant chocolate cake. Now, I don't have a big sweet tooth, but can I totally avoid the cake?? Ugh.
  19. I think a lot of people struggle with eating fast food too often because it is convenient. One thing that keeps me away from fast food places is looking at their nutritional info and seeing just how much fat and how many calories are in their foods. Doing that can be a real eye opener. If convenience is what you are looking for, try looking for the steamfresh type meals in the frozen food section of the grocery store. They are so much better for you and only take a few minutes to heat.
  20. I personally wouldn't ask people to bring stuff to your reception. I think you should provide the food.
  21. So, to get me motivated to start, I'm watching a couple of recent BL episodes that I've missed! Then I'm going to go workout like crazy!!!
