    I am having a blast researching and planning. Details... I live in Texas so we will be flying to PR to catch the cruise ship. The big reveal will be on November 22 or 23 in PR. Our first port is St. Thomas the Nov 24. the following day is a fun day at sea our remaining ports are Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, St. Lucia and back to PR.

    Hi Els77- Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I contacted El Convento for my wedding and their group rate was totally OUTRAGOUS !!!!! I am hoping after the cruise we can stay there one night.

    Thanks!!!!! Well so far all we have is a "Fake Family/Friends Reunion" website and it just appears as a group of friends and family getting together. I see you are getting married next year in Moon Palace, is that in Cancun?

    We are social butterflies as well. But still letting people know it is actually a wedding I know folks will say "no" and others will feel obligated. We are inviting everyone just as a "hey we got a great rate on cruise, you wanna come rock the boat with us". I am hoping for a private or shared cocktail party. Are you working with a TA.

    Cool I really wanted the whole wedding website and invitations, but I really like the aspect of no one knowing. I feel it doesn't put the pressure on family and friends to attend. But the important folks we want to attend they have already decided to come. You are getting married in April 2014 and I am November 2014 in St. Thomas. I contacted Carnival yesterday to ask questions about a cocktail hour and martini tasting... the prices seem reasonable. My TA told me to wait because we my have enough points for a free happy hour

    Hello All- It has been awhile. I am finally planning my dream wedding. I started back in 2010, but my parents both became ill. My Mother passed away in 2011 and my Father 2012. So here I am... We have decided to plan a "Surprise Wedding" in 2014. We are heading on the Carnival Valor out of Puerto Rico. Once all our guest have arrived we are planning a "Welcome Reception" and make the "Big Announcement". I just secured a fabulous group rate at the Doubletree in Puerto Rico. My heart was set on El Convento... Our wedding will be in St. Thomas Stay Tuned
