I guess I was just taken aback because I did not remember seeing any bad reveiws about the resort DJ and I am 10 weeks away from the big day and I thought i was done..lol. I did not want to have to spend $100 extra for a vendor to come on the property either, but I think you guys have convinced me and I'm probably going to go with Kevan.   As per the dimensions of the huppa, the approximate measurements are: Height=7ft 5inches, Length=7ft 7inches, width= 3ft 4inches. Tina, Â Yes! Nicole will have the staff set up whatever you decide to bring to add to the standard decorations which is sheer white fabric. No ma'am you are not crazy for wanting a beach party! I am super excited about having a one following the rehearsal dinner and we will have the reggae band also. Now as far as the bonfire....I never asked about pricing because I thought I remembered Leslie (Sparkles 8300) saying it cost an amount that I wasn't willing to pay. She was very helpful during my planning and although her wedding was at the Grand she answered many questions for me whenever I could not get in touch with Nicole and each one was accurate! Jules, Â Hey! It seems like everyone has their own unique way of doing this when it comes to destination weddings so honestly I don't think you can go wrong. Travel agents are a huge help! Let me share how I handled booking: I sent out my save the dates Feb. 1st and I printed my travel agents information on them. I am a very anal so I only wanted them to go through her in order for things to work out the way they have so far : ). The deadline for booking the trip and placing deposits down was March 31st. They have until September 30th to pay for their trip in full and we leave for the wedding on November 20th. This worked out perfect and it was not too early for booking at all and we got the rooms we wanted! Let me know if you have any other questions! Â Nikki

Yes...the furniture is low to the floor and rounded backs. The wall is half closed with a small opening. Ok, so I wonder if she will let us have the welcome gathering there so that we can be inside in the AC and plus my cocktail hour is on the lobby terrace so I didn't want to have it there. Lisa, I just realized that you said that the hotel tried to charge more for a rose bouquet. In the email that Nicole sent me with the selection choices it said that the red and white roses were included in the package. Were they charging you more because of the color you wanted?
