Hello ladies - I need some of your valuable advice! Â We're getting married at the ROR on March 24th, 2011. We're hoping to use the hotel photographer for ease of convenience, and because it would be insanely expensive to bring a photographer from Canada. But I'm having a HORRIBLE time trying to find a price and package list for the hotel photography, and would like to get some opinions of people that have used them in the past. I know there is another thread with reference to this just below, but I though maybe a fresh thread would grab some fresh insight. Â I emailed Antoinette as well to see if she can get me some info. I know they expect you to wait until a month before the wedding to begin chatting with her, but a month before doesn't leave any time to book a different photographer if needed. Bah, everything is coming together except for the photography bit, and it has me worried!!! Fellow brides I need help!! Â Thanks in advance!!!

Good morning Nicola!! Don't feel guilty, you need to give yourself a break every once in a while or else you'll burn yourself out and lose your motivation! I skipped my workout this morning and also felt a bit guilty, but I also felt super rested which was nice for a change, and now feel more motivated to dig in tomorrow Good luck with your weigh-in!! My weekly one is on Sunday so I'll keep you updated!! Just remember to keep setting goals and keep the biggest long term one at the fore front - your beautiful wedding day!

I need that or else I'll just get frustrated and fall off the wagon... Tomorrow is day 4! Over halfway through my first week!

My FI has started today which is great motivation now that we're both doing it! I'm on day 3 - still going strong but feeling a little overwhelmed when I remember how far I still have to go!

Welcome and congrats! I'm also a new ROR bride; our wedding is March 24th, 2011. This site can be extremely overwhelming because there is just so MUCH info, but it's impossible to leave here without a great new idea good luck and happy planning!!

Hey ladies! Im on day two - definitely HATE core synergistics but I really enjoy the cardio which was today (maybe because it's the shortest?) I've amazingly been doing great with following the fat shredder diet, although I did sneak in a coffee with cream and sugar both yesterday and today..... oops.... that was definitely one thing I had said I'd give up but otherwise I'm doing good!! Arms and shoulders tomorrow! THAT I'm excited about, NOT excited for the yoga though.... I just have to remember why I'm doing this I guess!!

Welcome Nicola!! Great job already losing 10 pounds!! I'm restarting the workout and diet regime that I originally tried to start in April.... And May.... And June... :0 But this time I do feel more prepared, probably because it's getting to the point of no choice!! I'm on my second day of p90x and have been doing well, although I did have one coffee with cream and sugar yesterday and today, which was something I had said I would give up... But otherwise I amazingly stuck to my diet which is usually something that's impossible for me!! My buns are so sore today I can hardly sit down, but I just keep picturing my bathing suit and remember why I'm torturing myself. Celina - I laughed at my computer screen! What a clever FI you have, you are a very lucky girl! Besides the near heart attack of course We just can't forget to keep supporting each other ladies, together we can all acheive our goals and look beautiful at our weddings!!! xoxo

Hey ladies, good job getting your FI involved! We also both started diet and workouts today, although I don't think he's going to be working out lol. We went to the grocery store yesterday and he was cringing at all of the healthy food but he's being a good sport which is amazing support for me! We actually got confirmation of our wedding booking today so that's my wake up call to get my buns in gear!

Hey ladies! It's been ages since I've been on here, the glitches with the planning were really getting me down! But it's all looking great now! We've put in the request for March 24th, 2011 at the Riu Ocho Rios in Jamaica! We DID manage to get flights out of our first choice city which is FANTASTIC!!! SO it's back to the planning! How is everyone else's planning going

Wow I am so happy to have found this thread! When we first started with the wedding planning back in April/May I was SO motivated to eat healthy and workout, and then we ran into some glitches with the planning so I hadn't even been on BDW again until yesterday. Finally got the request for the wedding date put in for March 2011, which made me realize HOLY S*** our wedding is in 8 months!!! I don't have a lot of weight that I'd like to lose, 10-15 pounds at most, but like many of you the thought of a dress store right now makes me cringe! My FI was supposed to be my workout/healthy lifestyle buddy as he wants to lose a little weight too but he is the most unmotivated person in the world and has no interest in getting started, which brings me down! So I'm soo happy to have found ALL of you to be my motivators!!!! My goals for this week - drink more water, workout at least 3-4 days, focus on healthy eating!

I've definitely been MIA in the group for a while!! Our wedding plans were up in the air as there were a pile of glitches with booking out of our requested city BUT it looks good now! Just put in the wedding date request today! So I officially have 8 months until the wedding. That basically means I need to get my ass in gear if I don't want to leave dress shopping until the last minute! So my FI and I are both planning to start working out beginning on Monday, eeeek. I'm going to NEED this support group!!

Hey ladies, I can't think of anyone better to share my frustrations with than fellow brides! Originally my FI and I wanted to get married in Jamaica but the travel agent seemed to think it was above the price range we had given him so we decided on Punta Cana. He got us a price list of our top 6 resorts and we made a decision based on that (even though the prices were higher than original budget ). Then, AFTER we have decided and are SO excited about our choice, he informs us that the airline will no longer fly to Punta Cana after March 1st (our wedding is the third week of March) from where we would be leaving, Saskatoon, and that we would have to drive 6 hours to the next closest international airport, Edmonton. We live right in the middle so it's not a big deal for us, but probably 70% of the guests either live or are originially from Saskatoon so they would have had a place to stay and leave their cars etc. AND the per person price for the trip itself is more out of Edmonton than the original quote. SO my MOL's TA thinks he can send us to the Lady Hamilton (Jamaica being where we wanted to go in the first place!) for $200 less per person than the original quote from the other TA AND we can leave from Saskatoon so no one has to pay for parking, hotel's or any other travel related expenses! My only concern is that I'm having some trouble trying to find Lady Hamilton wedding info in a hurry (I'm rushed so maybe I'm not looking as hard as I should be!) We would like to get this thing booked as we're now under 10 months away from our departure date and back at square one... HELP!! Thanks in advance ladies, finding this forum was beyond the best wedding planning related experience I've had thus far!

Actually, they won't even fly after March 1st! We live in Alberta but 75% of the guests live in Saskatoon. Sooo we either will have to drive everyone to Edmonton (20-30 people!) or change our location altogether. We are absolutely not impressed with our travel agent.... I may not get to join you in Punta Cana after all!!! I'll keep you updated.

Hey ladies! My FI and I are hoping to get through P90X before our wedding. We have about 10 months before the big day so we hope to be starting the program soon but it's been a hectic spring. We already have all the goods so I'm thinking of starting in the next week or two - planning on trying to line it up with the next trip to the grocery store to get some healthy food in the fridge first! I just wanted to thank everyone that posts on here in advance. The amount of support that a group like this provides is just amazing! Congrats to everyone who's already reached there goals and thanks to everyone for the awesome motivation!! Here's to hoping I can stick to it!

we aren't positive yet but likely sometime between the 21 and 24 of march 2011. We've decided to go with the Colonial so our TA is in the process of booking our wedding now! Fingers crossed everything goes as planned!
