*waves hello* I feel the same way! From what I understand, now that the resort is chosen, and date and time of the ceremony, I don't have to book our reception site, flowers, cake, etc. until much closer to the date. This drives me crazy! He he. What do your BM's dresses look like? I'm stuck on choosing colours :S -
That's a good sign, 2 dresses you love already! Isn't dress shopping the best?! I bought a Alfred Angelo dress, I can't remember the style number, but it's strapless (sweetheart neckline), lace with a simple bow around the waistline and tiny bows down the back into a cathedral train. It's really simple and classic looking. It isn't too heavy which I think will be good for the heat.

PS - Princess, I live in Vancouver, we are close! I just found out about a really cute wedding store called Wedding Things in Yaletown. Lots of cute little things for OOT bags!

Another December 2010 bride here! We are getting married December 16, 2010 at the Grand Riviera Princess. I think I'm somewhat on track, but really have no idea. My dress is bought, our Save the Dates went out in January, and our invites are going out this week. People are booking steadily, and every time someone books I get so freaking excited! He he. Oh and a friend of ours is a photographer, so he is already booked and wants to meet up soon to go over "must take photos" and the TTD session. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

I am hoping to get married on the beach, it's a bit pricey, but that's totally what I picture - barefoot, in the sand. However, the gazebo is beautiful, and wouldn't be upset if we ended up getting married there

Hi ladies I've booked our wedding date (December 16, 2010), and sent our deposit. Patricia sent my travel agent information about wedding packages and reception options, should I be booking my reception now, or wait until I have a better idea of how many guests will be coming? Has anyone who is booked around then already told the resort what reception they want?

Just wired my deposit to hold our wedding date yesterday, yay! What are the next steps? How soon do I have to let Patricia know what wedding package we want, reception, flowers, cake, etc? And what is the time frame like for getting final number of guests to her?

Oh wow, I didn't know about that! Much more affordable than the private beach party, although my heart is still set on that...this changes things! Ha ha, just what I need - more options! LOL Does anyone know if there is a 40 guest maximum for the semi private dinner there?

I believe the Thai Beach Club is $100 per person for the private reception? And the private beach party is $85 per person...that's what the brochure says at least. I would love to do the Thai Beach Club, it looks amazing! We are going to do the private beach party though...
