    Here is my mom's dress. It hasn't come yet so we're hoping it looks good.

    Personally I think it is more appropriate to list just the parents, not step parents on the invite. You can always acknowledge the step parent in a program or something. I think you want to minimize hurting the real parent. Divorce is hard and things like weddings can be really emotional.

    The both look great on you so you can't go wrong with either. Where is our wedding? I think #2 Is more beach looking but #1 is so elegant and looks amazing on you.

    Personally I like the vibe at Hard Rock better than Planet Hollywood. Planet Hollywood seems a little cheap to me. I don't mean that in a bad way, but the pool, gaming areas, etc are just not as nice. I have never been to a wedding at either place though. I would suggest a scouting trip so you can get a feel! Hav you looked into The Palms?

    http://www.loxodesign.com/ He did the invites custom just for me as he doesn't specialize in one particular thing. He's just an amazing graphic designer. Everything is custom and his prices are very reasonable.

    Sarah hang in there! That's terrible news but I'm sure it will work out. Even keeping your favors with the wrong date isn't a big deal as everyone will know what happened. Don't lose sight of the positive! Something better will come your way!

    I'm also a size 8-10 and found that satin dresses are way less flattering. They show everything so my vote is for #1
