This is a great idea!
  4. Your guests are free to stay elsewhere; however they/you must pay $125 the day they come to your wedding. And as dreamstar stated, your number of offsite guests can not exceed the # of guest you have staying @ MDC.
  5. The only suggestion I've heard is Margaret Myrie. I've read good things about her on this forum, but was disappointed when I contacted her for 3 reasons: 1. She was very short with me (3 word e-mails etc.) and came off a bit rude... 2. Price: I wanted a basic 3 tier white cake with NO decoration (I was going to bring my own ribbon for the tiers and my own flowers to decorate)...she quoted me something ridiculous over $400. 3. The pictures she sent of cakes she's done didn't really even look nice...like lopsided, melty, and average at best. Obviously I haven't seen her product first-hand, so correct me if I'm wrong. Still looking for the "perfect cakebaker" so please, Negril brides--share your experiences!
  6. Welcome! You will find everything you could possibly think of on this site! Happy Planning
  7. ps. the pic of your FI holding your grandpops hand is TOO CUTE!!
  8. I was going to try it, as I hate how short my eyelashes are...but I love the green color of my eyes and would be sad if they darkened (a side effect of Latisse). Also, if you discontinue use of Latisse, your lashes do not stay long...I figured I wouldn't be using it for the rest of my life so whats the point. lol. Would love to know other brides results if they used it!
  9. From what I have read on here from other girls, the shoot is very empowering and makes you feel sexy if you didn't before!! I am right there with ya though...I will be nervous as anything...I'll be taking a bottle of wine with me!! :-) Good luck, relax, and your pics will be beautiful!! Can't wait to hear how it goes!

  12. thanks so much for the explanation!! a couple other (dumb) questions..not very artistic, but I think I can handle this with some direction lol. How long and wide is the runner? Is there just a standard size or did you have to ask the place you're getting married the measurements of the aisle? Also, where did you paint this? In the middle of the runner, or at the end like where the bride would enter from? Thanks so much for the help...you did such a great job!!
