  1. Thanks ladies!! Our 'color' is Tiffany blue...and although we don't have any other 'official' colors, we are using bright tropical accents of tangerine and fuscia. We are also using starfish as a subtle accent. For that reason, I'm leaning towards the one with the starfish in the center, but really I don't think I could go wrong with #2 the beach scene--gives everyone a nice visual of where they'll be in a few months!! Thanks for everyone's opinion!! :-)

They've been in the garage and outside for a few weeks with only a slight change. Not very appetizing to have a "sea" smell next to your plate. FYI--I forget whose post it was, but one bride on this forum said she sprayed them a few times with Febreeze which did the trick!! Good luck!!
  3. Let me know what you are able to find!! Best of luck!!
  4. Congrats! This forum is amazingggg!! Happy planning!!
  5. I am so sorry to read this. You and your family are in my prayers. *hugs* as you face this difficult time.
  6. I should clarify...SEMI-DIY. I don't have any fancy software...I actually don't even have Photoshop. For some of them, I Google searched for monograms, picked ones that I liked went along with my theme/used our colors. I then used Paint to 'white out' the info, and added our info using Picnik on Facebook (free)! For others, I found clip art from microsoft (like the palm tree and starfish), and again added our info using Picnik. And finally, for the one thats the picture of beach with the heart in the sand, I found the image using google and used Picnik to make it into a circle and add our info. Personalized, fun to make, and best of all--free!
  7. Sounds like a great deal to me...I wish I was paying that for photography! lol...can't wait to see the pics!!
  8. Alright...so I created the following DIY monograms. I know there's a lot--I get a little obsessive lol. Which is your favorite? What should I change or never, ever use?? And be honest--I can take constructive criticism!! :-)
  9. In my opinion, that's still a lot to spend on a towel...is there a company around where you live that does embroidery? You could buy towels on sale somewhere like Target for much cheaper. I really want to do towels, too, but the price can get a little ridiculous--and like my fiance pointed out to me--guests know where they're headed and will likely bring their own towels. Men--always killing the fun! Lol...good luck...your design is really cute though!!
  10. All your stuff looks GORGEOUS!! Love your color scheme too...very unique and pretty! Great job :-)
  11. Yours look just as good (if not better) than the inspiration pic--which happens to be my inspiration pic as well. Glad to see it can be recreated so inexpensively!! Great job!!
  12. dislike...I'm artistically challenged! ...Bikini Season....

  15. UGH! It never ceases to amaze me how rude people can be...brides shouldn't have to be put in such an awkward position! Is there someone else who could deliver the 'you're actually not invited' news? Hope it works out for you :-/
  16. Finished our website today!...All we are waiting for is our wedding party's 'bios' and the site will be complete. I totally recommend using this site...free, easy to navigate and personalize, and I think it turned out decent. Let me know what you think! Mallory & Glenn - wedding website by mywedding.com
