Roo I can't believe I am actually considering a FYO shoot after reading your posts & looking on their site!! I would normally say never in a million years would I do that as am so body conscious & not confident but I think you have almost convinced me!! & I know Richard will love it!!.....oooh feel a bit excited about it!! OMG nervous & haven't even booked it!!....hahahahah

Nicy - Love Love the journal idea for the groom am definitely getting one of those!!!! & how lovely of your MIL.......mine is a complete witch!! However my FIL has said the same as your MIL.....he said we will help pay towards wedding & our hotel but like you we didn't want to ask how much so will wait & see, 'every little helps!!' eh, my family are super!! Mum is paying for all the outfits & Dad has said he will pick up the bill in resort, blood tests, dj, flowers, hair, make up & photos!! So all we really have to pay is our holiday, am so so lucky ( he did joke though, are you sure you don't want to just go to the Isle of Wight & I'll pay for your holiday as well!!) hahahaha  Just had a thought on the Wedding Dress Box......what if something spills on it? I know thats drastic but as its cardboard....imagine a macdonalds coke at the airport dropped on the box??!! I might get one & see how robust they are for £18 its worth a look?  Oooh & one more thing on the underwear front.....my bridal shop has said that they can sew in a bra type thing to the dress which enhances the boobs for £25 so you don't need to worry about straps....might do that & then buy some other wedding underwear for wedding night....nudge nudge wink wink!!

For ladies that have been to resort: Â A couple of questions that my travel agent can't answer: Â 1. What is dress code for men in the A la carte restaurants, do they have to wear closed shoes? Â 2. Does the hotel provide towels around the pool? Â 3. Is there a hairdryer in the room? Â 4. Is there an iron in the room?

Sorry for multiple posts but forgot....How lovely is that Michelle your mum giving you £1000!!!! & your right we don't need the MIL's when we have our own super mums!! I was thinking the same thing the other day that I don't want to leave mum out of organising but so much is done online there isn't really a lot of actual shopping to do....not like a wedding here you would go & look at cakes & flowers, venues etc I'm thinking I might organise a weekend of shopping up London maybe book a hotel near westfields to get all our holiday clothes (well lets face it I only have an outfit for one day sorted so far!!hahahaha)

Charmaine - I booked it all through my TA but as soon as I booked & requested wedding date I then called the hotel in Mexico straight away to see if they had the date I was asking available. They said yes so I went straight back into my TA & told them it was available so could they phone & hold it TODAY!! They must've thought 'God we've got a right one here' Bridezilla eat your heart out!! but it paid off as didn't have to wait the standard 8 weeks & got the date & time we wanted without panicking that it would be gone!! hahaha  For the guests, basically I took all the different combinations ie 2 adults, 2 adults 2 kids etc to 4 different TA's got the best price & then told all my guests the research I had done. This mean't they then all booked with Cooperative Travel (first choice & thomson). Bit of news on this as well I have a cooperative membership card (like sainsburys nectar card) & although all my guests are responsible for their own payment, I am the lead name on the booking. It works out that in December 2011 I will get nearly £600 in coop vouchers!!!!!!!! woo hoo...thats next Christmas sorted!!

What colour r u girls all in?  On a quite unbelievable note I got my two older girl bridesmaid dresses today guess how much.....£11.25 each!!!!!! They were in Debenhams £75, down to £45 then half price £22.50 then buy one get one free!!! How crazy is that, They need taking in but even if I spend £20 - £30 getting them altered its still a bargain!! I would put a picture on but don't know how???? Can anybody help??
