  3. I have been using VP for a while, but never as creatively as you ladies. I finally took the time to read through this thread, and WOW! Everything is really impressive. I definitely took notes and I know in the near future I will be posting my VP goodies. Thanks ladies!
  4. If you have a mac it's pretty much the same thing except after downloading the font, you open up your font book, which you can find in applications and then add font (make sure and download where it can be easily found). And then you have your font to use in any program you wish.
  5. Hey congrats on your engagement and welcome to the forum. It is oh so wonderful! happy planning
  6. Hey ladies: The saga of my finding the perfect destination continues. However, this time we have finally decided that we will be getting married in Cape May, NJ. We have not decided on a particular venue as yet since we have to wait until FI comes into town in July/August so that we can take a weekend to visit the different venues that we have in mind. If anyone has gotten married at or has attended a wedding in Cape May, please feel free to give me any recommendations, advice, etc. Here are the venues that we plan to visit (if you have any that we haven't found, please feel free to suggest). I read the post below about Cape May and it gave me a lot of wonderful resources to start with, so I will be researching those links in the meantime. 7. I think it comes down to what you like or are comfortable with. Some people are traditional and believe in being married in a church. You can decorate a church in a very romantic manner. You can also do the same at the beach. Some people think that being married on the beach at sunset is super romantic and that they dont need a church for the ceremony. But others might think that the beach is just not appropriate cause there is the sand, and the wind and the gulls and other beach revelers watching in on your ceremony (and maybe trying to get into your pics). So it totally depends on which you think you create a romantic atmosphere to your liking. Personally, Im going for the beach at sunset (sand, sea gulls, people and all)!
  8. That's a good idea, maybe some kind of excursion would be great. Or what about a spa visit? Both of you can have some time alone doing that!
  9. Hey Rebecca, welcome to the forum and happy planning.

  15. these are cute Janine, the butterfly print will definitely go perfectly with them.
  16. I think its going to be more exciting. It will not be my FI's first time but he has been celibate since we have been together, and I think it makes him kind of excited to wait also. We are planning to have a late flight out after the wedding, so it will have to wait until we get to our destination.
