  3. I maybe jumping in a little late but I am so sorry to hear that! As you say it is such a sad thing for brides who were getting married this weekend. I believe that you will find a dress that will make you as happy or even happier than the one you had originally chosen. I wish you luck and I know that everything will work out for the best! If you were closer we could go dress shopping together. I have been postponing the inevitable for months now! Good luck and best wishes.
  4. Thanks Girl. Hope the planning's going well. Im praying for you!
  5. Thanks ladies. RJ is such a wonderful photographer I couldn't ask for anyone better. We love him and can't wait for him to take our wedding pics.
  6. I am trying to find a little time to spend on the forum and give back much of what was given to me in the early days of my planning. Recently, on November 5, we took our engagement pictures and I just got them tonight so I decided to share them with you ladies right away before it never gets done. I love them. I love our photographer RJ, searching4photography. He is great and a wonderful photographer. http://www.flickr.com/photos/27408262@N03/sets/72157625414679422

  8. Hello Ladies: Its been such a long time since I logged on, I did so with my first log in information that I no longer use. But I am here in all of my glory as AishaB. As some of you know the last time I was on, I told you guys that my sister was diagnosed with Breast cancer. It has been a tough road, but God has been good. She has had surgery, and has to do chemo, but we are hoping for the best. With all of this going on, I oh I mean we (yeah right), have been planning the wedding. My job (thank God) has been keeping me very busy and I just dont have the time to get online as I used to. I think of you ladies often and hope that all planning and lives are going well. I want to wish a happy wedding day to JanineA. I know it will be beautiful. Will definitely be trying to get on more. Lots of luck ladies AishaB
  9. Oh that is horrible. I feel your pain, that happened to me while studying for the NY bar exam. I have always backed up since then. Good luck with redesigning, it will be just as or better than the first one. Good luck! Â A
  10. Have to agree with the ladies, your stuff looks great. And I love, love, love the hair inspiration.
  11. Thanks Yolanda, I actually got the same one. I was hoping for their freebies. But they don't seem to be sending those out any more.
  12. What do you ladies think of these babies (particularly the gold). I love the Gold. It's being sold at Neiman Marcus for about $800. Like say, way out of my budget"! If anyone sees anything looking like this please let me know. Â Â Ooh this is my baby! I LOVE this shoe... Â
  13. So I have been going back and forth about what kind of invites I should do. I really felt because I was doing boarding pass tickets for my STDs then I had to the passports as my invites. So, first I decided not to be bothered and farm out the job, but then I thought to myself that I could do it myself - that was a mess! Then I found a wonderful post on the blog Weddingbee from one of the Bees who was having the exact dilemma as I was. She had sent out Boarding Passes and wanted to do something a bit different for her formal invites. Taking her advice into mind, I have finally found my invites. This Sunday, I did the first mock-ups with cream cardstock. I wont post those as yet because I want the card stock doesn't do justice to the invites. So here's my inspiration. I found it on Weddingbee. If anyone wants the instructions on how to make the pocket folds, just follow the link. Her instructions are so simple, clear and easy, I got them on the first try. I am going to get them letterpressed and have a different design other than the flowers (something beachy or travel themed that is on my other paper items). I got a good lead on letterpress from one of my fellow DW members (sorry I can't remember your name), but her friend has been great to work with. I will definitely let you ladies know how the lettepress turns out. Â Â http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/06/09/crafting-the-invitation-part-i-diy-pocketfolds/
