Hi everyone! Just making my DIY programs and was wondering how the proper way (or maybe just a cute way) to remember passed loved ones. Both of my grandfathers and my FI's grandpa both passed several years ago and we were very close with them. How are all of you remembering your loved ones on your wedding day? Thanks so much, I love this forum! -Lyndsay

I think a lot of us girls are going to meet up sometime for a drink when we are down there. Would love to have you there!!

I was just sent a new catalog for all of them. So anyway, my question is...can you say, "I want this centerpiece, but can you make it all white?" Or are they not going to budge? Is this something you talk to Angie about or wait and talk to the WC once you're down there? Thank you in advance! Hi Jujeemd- welcome! They are very willing to change any color of the flowers. They actually allowed me to add roses to my bouqet for no extra charge. They want to make you as happy as possible. I would try to bring this up to the Mexico WC's. You should be in contact with them by now.

duprk452, I'm doing it the same way as you, very simple! Also using an ipod with all of our music. I made all my BM's bouquets and bouts with the help of a friend with silk flowers from hobby lobby (like Michaels, total $60!!) BM's are wearing their own black dresses and we made our own invites, STD's and programs. It has all been so cheap! Its the way for us to go and I am so happy. Im not doing anything for decorations at our reception because the beach is our decoration.

Taapple- just PM'd you and I guess from reading mykidsmomtx it would be $15/pp to upgrade those 15 pp included in the classic package from semi-private to private. Then all extra people are $25/pp. Its because if you do a semi-private reception a la carte it is $15/pp. Its just a pro-rated price I guess!

Hi Taapple I will PM you with the checklist that comes straight from the WC's at the resort. You can see how much everything is and go from there. I am one of the brides doing a Classic wedding and upgrading quite a bit (still cheaper for me!) That is a good question about upgrading to a private reception. The semi-private is $15/guest and private is 25/guest so Im not sure if it would just be an extra 10/guest to upgrade. Then every guest after 30 would be the full price I imagine. Don't know about the minister fee, Im guessing you can since it is added on extra for everybody You would be fine with a 2pm ceremony, no extra fee I am using Mike Cantarell for photog. I was able to tell him my budget and he worked with me very well!! I am very happy with what I am getting. They are very willing to work with you Hope this helps! Sorry I couldn't help with some of those! -Lyndsay

I got forwarded the wedding checklist that you have to fill out for when you want your hair and make up done, what choices for dinner, etc. I just had a question about the flowers, for anyone who has done it before or who knows how it is done. Is just 12 standard roses available and then you can choose to 'upgrade' to another bouquet in the book of standard flowers and therefore pay the 80 USD, or can you swap your roses for any of the other bouquets in the standard flowers for no charge? Thanks, Shirley Hi Shirley If I understand your question correctly, I was able to change by bouquet any way I wanted as long as it was in the standard bouquet area (ie no orchids and non-cascading) So for instance, I wanted white lillies with fuschia roses mixed in and it was no extra charge. They have several bouquets like this so really I was just changing colors. So in the packet the first couple of pages are the "stardard" that you get for free with the packages. If it has BO (orchids) or BC (cascading) in front of the numbers, it is extra.

Heres how it looks like that.. hard to see from the picture.. So if you decide to get the bussle make sure they bring it up from the middle and the 2 sides of the train to make it look pretty Thanks IslandBride! That really helps a lot. -lynds

STARBUCKS!! I knew I picked PDC for a reason-haha!! FI and I are definitely addicts That is reassuring that the Royal is not the only resort with bad communication-well not really but you know what I mean. I really believe that even though things seem bad trying to plan in the states, we will all be very very happy with our weddings
