Any Laser Hair Removal Experiences?

Definitely sexy wow, i didn't know you had to cover it - i've only heard of putting the cream on. lol, it would be bad if someone walked in on me doing that in the kitchen yay! consultation on tuesday!! -
thanks, i was wondering the same thing last night because my dress doesn't cover the shoulder one, the only thing is, that of mine keloided, so its slightly raised, i hope it covers ok or can be photoshopped easily. good idea to try before wedding for transferring onto things, runs and smudges..

Disney has their own photographers that are included in my package, but I don't want those. They take nice pictures, but not what I'm looking for... I'm too fussy lol for many of the mexican resorts, if your photographer is a guest, they waive any outside vendor fee, so that could work for you. you may be like us who found one we loved, then looked at lots of others and ended up with the first one we loved. the photographer is the person documenting the day you would have been planning for a long time, so its ok to be fussy! good luck! PS: your monogram is really cute! i love disney but my FI didn't go for it =P

Best Waterproof Wedding Mascara (Knot Poll Results)

That combined with one of those mascaras and we'll be set and beautiful in the heat! i love the urban decay eye potion too! its an amazing primer! i'm also going to give that l'oreal mascara a try - is it the waterproof version you're using? i've tried out a couple of the DiorShow waterproof mascaras, but so far they haven't lived up to their price tag. good thing sephora has a great return policy and i've just exchanged the "blackout" for the "iconic" (both waterproof version) The Lash Injection Mascara by Too Faced left me with racoon eyes before lunchtime. my test is a regular day at work then off to a hot yoga class. will let you know of any amazing results. -
wow, you ladies have enticed me to pick this up! been looking to switch to a good 30 min workout to mix with the gym and hot yoga. going to try this out because if i hear tony horton say "bring it" or "ab-ripper-x" i'm going to break something!

Any Laser Hair Removal Experiences?
rosieposie replied to rosieposie's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
i've booked my consultation for next week!!! I'm so excited! I think I'll start with the bikini and underarms. i'm a little nervous about the upperlip because its my face....so we'll see how these go first. Thank Ayita! I'm now prepared that I'll probably have to go in quite often. -

The thing about flowers are, you can't even dry them to take home after, even if you wanted to. i've been trying to calculate a "grand total" kind of thing, and a few hundred here and a few hundred there...starts to add up very quickly....

why don't you ask browse a few of the photographers in the Orlando area and see how their work and pricing stacks up against the 2 from NL? it also depends on your budget. the knot and mywedding.com have listings of US vendors. you may also want to put into your budget any extras charges you may have to pay for with your NL photographer - such as flying their assistant down (if required or optional), do they require a food allowance, and does your wedding venue (disney) allow for you to bring your own photographer. i hope that helps a bit!

facebook group, what a great idea! Great way to get people to stop texting/emailing me asking if i've heard anything yet.

I would definetly go back there again and everyone we brought with us said the same thing. The location was the best that I had been to in my 3+ trips to Playa. You girls will not be sorry you chose these hotels to be married in. Lots to do since we just got back today but feel free to ask me any questions and I will try and answer any I can. =) That's so great to hear! Congrats!!! Hi & Congrats! Grab some wine & chocolates, then spend an evening sifting and searching through the forum. It'll give you great ideas and help you narrow some things down. good luck!

Hmm...sounds good that they are soaked off. The last time I tried gels they were LCN and my nails have never been the same years later after they've been removed. (Had to be buffed off). thanks! I'll look into this, hopefully they're offered in my area.

Any other Canadian brides doing an AHR?
rosieposie replied to Lara's topic in At Home Reception (AHR)
Quote: Originally Posted by krista.baird We are also doing an AHR, it originally was supposed to be a small backyard bbq with a few family and friends who couldn't make it to the DW, but now FMIL has turned it into a huge catered reception, which I am totally grateful for because FI and I dont have money to do that, however, we feel frustrated because if we knew that they were willing to contribute, we wouldn't have had to plan a DW. Our reason for doing a DW was to keep the budget low, so now we are paying for our DW, and they are paying for our AHR, but it's twice as much work and planning! YIKES! Well, I'm trying to look at the bright side, I get to wear my dress twice, have my hair done, and enjoy being the bride for the day! We are having the AHR about 5 weeks after we return from Mexico. We are planning to show a slideshow of video from the wedding, along with pic slideshow running in the background while guests are rolling in, visiting, getting seated, etc. Then dinner, followed by speeches, first dance, and then dancing. Full on reception! I know how you feel! Due to insisting and insisting of our parents we're kind of in the same situation. However, in Chinese culture, the Groom's side is supposed to pay for the wedding (or most of it), so we couldn't come to a modern-version agreement of who pays, so we said we would pay, but we wanted a DW. Then my FMIL and FFIL caved, because they really really really want a celebration with friends and family (and they really really don't want to go to Mexico). At first we were ok because they said it would be small now its a full on reception with 250 guests. I'm grateful that they have done this, because I'm sure 2 celebrations will be twice as nice but they are a week and a half apart....hopefully we can pull this all off..... -

They weren't in stock so they placed the order and told her 6 weeks til they would come in. About a month later she gets an email telling her that one of the dresses has come in .... early YAY!! That time frame plus passes and no call about the other dress so she contacts them about her dress. They proceed to tell her no the dress is not there, they have no record of her info - name, payment invoice etc My MOH is now losing her mind trying to find the receipt but thank GOD she held onto the email they sent her about the 1st dress coming in. To make a long story short ... I can totally be like, "RELAX Ali, we have all kinds of time for these bumps and will laugh about this in a year." Something tells me if we were to fast forward 6 months - I might not be quite as cordial LOL Anyhoo, not only do I not think there is such a thing as planning too early - after this, I highly recommend it :-) It made the difference between this being a ranting vent and an oh well thank goodness I started early post LOL wow sounds like quite a whirlwind! good thing you have this time buffer! at first i was getting the feeling that i was planning too early, got all sorts of "eager beaver" remarks, but now as the 1 year mark approaches i feel ok because some things are rolling already. yay for early planners!
