Any Laser Hair Removal Experiences?

I've decided to start with the bikini and then go for underarms after. I kind of do want to do the upper lip too, but worried about any pigment loss or gain, as I read in the brochure can happen...though they say is very rare. My first treatment will be next tuesday! They said the numbing cream is optional as they have this cooling tube that blows air out with the laser which helps with the pain. But if I do use it, I would be leaving from work with my saran wrap bikini bottom - hope I don't run into anyone on my way out! Yay! No more waxing! -
Best Waterproof Wedding Mascara (Knot Poll Results)
rosieposie replied to AishaB's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
tried the DiorShow Iconic today started in the monring and through a 30 min lunchtime circuit training class + 15 mins in the infrared sauna. Not too bad, held up quite well by the end of all that, but left my under eye area grey after a shower. Comparing the Iconic to the Voluminous, the Iconic gave thicker lashes (but thicker product) & curled a bit - uses a cool new brush style, but comes with large pricetag ($36 CND). The Voluminous formulation gave pretty full and lush lashes, though not as dark, but much more budget friendly.....for not huge difference as both were well in sweaty environments. the voluminous is my new fave everyday mascara. =) hope that helps a bit -

Bringing Real Rings With You?
rosieposie replied to rosieposie's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings

They all said they traveled with their rings and had no issues. One girl said she stored her rings and e-ring in teh room saf everyday while she was at the beach and ppol- with no issue. I might consider buying a "mini-safe" the kind you lock a spare house key in- lock the rings in that and again in the room safe. I will have my e-ring insured but, i dont want to take any chances... i think we've decided to take them all with us. we'll be leaving them inside the safe before the day of the ceremony (4 days into our trip) and if we go snorkelling or something...but definately will have insurance on them. since we will also be putting our laptop, camera and etc. in there when not in use too, i'm hoping it will all be okay. -

Alternative to Flowers??
rosieposie replied to kateandbri's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I was looking at this for inspiration as a DIY idea for BM (if I had time) seashell-bouquets or These flowerball lanterns or something similar I saw in Chinatown that has a bamboo stick handle and a light inside. http://www.asianimportstore.com/pidaflbalawk.html or parasols are a good idea too, i've been eyeing these http://www.asianimportstore.com/7golluccatwp.html lol, as you can see i'm having a terrible time deciding =P -
we will be getting all the legal stuff done in town before heading down to Mexico. My FI recently changed his last name from his mom's to his dad's so we didn't want to have to deal with all the paperwork. we're not telling people. we told 2 friends and they said "so we're going to your fake wedding in Mexico"...so we decided to keep quiet about it instead, including parents. it's really up to you, as long as you're happy with your decision, and maybe this thread will also help. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...wedding-52156/ good luck!

Weird question, I know, but i want to do the customized water bottles and I don't know if that poses a customs issue. Hmm.... my girlfriend packed 2, 4L (uh...2, 1 Gallon) of distilled water into her luggage last month to Ixtapa because she needs it for her medication. But I'm not sure about individual water bottles, since they might think you might be selling them...? Unless you would like a particular brand you don't think they have there, an option is picking them up at Mega (Mexico's version of Walmart) or Walmart when you arrive. They aren't too far (approx. $6 cab ride from the Royal). When we went a couple of years back, bottled water was readily availble in room, at the front lobby, in the "snack canoes" on the way to the beach, and the 24 hour snack room or the bars. They weren't really large bottles. If you want to personalize them, you could ask for the label measurements and make them larger accordingly.

They added some orchids that looked and felt really fake. The orchids even had rough, frayed like edges. The other flowers in my boquet were of varying quality. The calla lilly bouts we got were what I was expecting real touch to be, you couldn't even tell they weren't real, they were fabulous. They did do a beautiful job arranging the boquet though. And the bouts and corsages we got were also beautiful. It all worked out because in photos you can't tell they aren't real. I love how they look in the photos, (even close up ones) they just pop and I have gotten several compliments on them from people who have seen my photos. I would still recommend this company 100%. They are an absolute pleasure to deal with, and are great at responding quickly by email and phone. The prices also seemed very reasonable. My advice would be to go see the flowers they are going to use in person if possible, as the quality in mine varied quite a bit from flower type to flower type. If you are too far to go to the shop, just specify very clearly that you only want all real touch and absolutely no silk or other types. thanks for letting us know. i just recently put a deposit down for my flowers from them. They did tell me that there will be a mix of silks and real touch for the types of flowers I would like but from what I gather here, the pros out weigh the cons, and based on your experience, I know kind of what to expect. thanks!
