  9. if you have a chinatown in your area, they may have what you're looking for? i'm planning to order parasols from here, they also have lanterns. Wedding Candle Holders, Paper Lanterns, Decorative Candle Lanterns, Wedding Favors and let you estimate shipping costs before ordering.

  11. i'm trying to change my semi-private reception to a private one and have been waiting for almost 2 weeks now to hear from my WC. she contacted me a while back to confirm she's settling in now in Mexico as she was one of the ones that moved there. hmmm.....when should i be concerned?

On another note, I ordered just ordered AHR postcard STDs, business card/luggage tags and a couple of totes from vistaprint! And received notification the ETA on my dress is Nov. 15. I'm can wait for everything to arrive! Next task, ordering invite supplies and BM dresses.

The trip itself was great, just don't eat too much and be prepared! thanks for letting us know. i'm usually not great with motion-sickness but wanted to do an excursion like that.....uughhh....i thought gravol would work but i may have to reconsider now... either way, it looks like you had a lot of fun!

For us, it just wasn't worth it. We saw some of the DJ's playlists and did not like one of their songs on it so we would have had to create a new one anyway. So after all the time and effort all we would have been paying him for was to press play. I guess that's just our opinion. Now granted we didn't have any cool balloon animals or masks, but we still had fun. Thanks! I feel the same way, I don't think we'll have that many guests and don't know how many of them will actually get up and dance so we don't think it'll be that worth it. Hopefully your dance floor is their new standard. Did you have to pay extra for the person to run your ipod? 18. i'm keeping an eye out for props like large/funny glasses, animal ears, boas, large empty picture frames....etc.etc....after halloween, if you don't need them before then... otherwise, rummaging around your house for old costumes could work too =)
  19. thanks duprk for the review! you looked beautiful! i was wondering about the blood work process and not upgrading the dance floor, thanks for the details. sorry if i missed it, but did you hire a DJ or just let your ipods run with playlists you mentioned? looks like you had a wonderful wedding =) congratulations!

  21. i'm getting more and more addicted to coming on here....i just spent most of my lunch hour search through the forum for answers to my questions
  22. i have a curve & love it! i used to have a pearl and it was nice too, but the advantage is one button per letter vs. the pearl's 2 letters per button system. i love having emails, calendar, task list, facebook and blackberry messenger so handy, i don't know what i'd do without it! the new ones have the trackpad that is supposed to work better because there've been complaints about the trackballs not working over time. they've also coming out with some prettier colours now in some models, which makes me want a new one =) it's true, you can't get away from a smartphone after you start.
  23. Hi Makenzie! Welcome & congrats! Don't worry, there's tons of great resorts in the Playa for you to choose from and lots of info here to help you with planning. When you get a chance, check out the May 2011 bride thread! =)
  24. and congrats! i love hawaii! which island are you planning to get married on? happy planning!
