Ok, I am so confused. TA Jenifer-I am so sorry that I missed the initial post of your explaining all the new changes. I see that now. However, I just asked my TA and one of the TA's on the fbook page about the renovations at Sandy Bay and both had the same answer-That they are always working to upgrade the soft goods in the rooms (bedding, drapes, furniture) but no actual construction at any of the Beaches anywhere! I am so confused now....

Wait, they are doing renvoations at Beaches Sandy Bay? My TA did not tell me this! Oh no, I am worried! I am getting married at Beaches Negril next may but have prob half my wedding (maybe 40 people) expected to stay at Sandy Bay. Is this going to be a problem?? What are they doing renovations on Are there any renovations scheduled at Beaches Negril I should know about I am worried now!

I also originally started with DW.com and put down a deposit. You can actually get that back, all you have to do is ask. If you want to switch to a different TA, you can still do that if that would make you feel more comforablt too! Good luck! I am getting married in Jamaica so I can't comment on T&C but all the pics and reviews i have seen have been amazing! I wish i could afford it!

I am getting married the beginning of May next year and I think that it rains every day but only for a short period of time so you should be fine. I figure that people are still getting married there in June and July, during actual hurricane season, so we should be fine...happy thoughts!

What a great review! You mention the sand fleas but i didn't see anything else related to them. Were they bad? I have read about them and am planning on having my ceremony & reception in the sand and am worried about them! Do you have any pics?!?

We are getting married at Beaches Negril and have two resort options for our guests: Beaches Negril and Beaches Sandy Bay. Here is our rate table based on # of nights staying and # of people in each room. I think it is pretty reasonable. The resorts are all inclusive and you can use the amenities at both resorts. There is also a free shuttle that goes back and forth. These do not include airfare but we expect it be around $300/$400 depending on the city you fly out of. Hopefully this ends up legible... Hey Ladies! Has anyone gotten married at Beaches Negril in the past few months? Reviews or Pics?

Hi Everyone-do you know if you are able to choose any time of day to have your cocktail hour/reception regardless of when your ceremony time is at a Beaches reort? I believe you can based on other people's posts saying they have had an early morning ceremony and late reception. Let me know, thanks!!!

I have been struggling with this too! Currently I am booked for a 5pm wedding but I am thinking I should change it to 4pm so that I don't run out of sunlight for pics!
