Mon Cheri 18107 destination dress for sale
Fireweed replied to Fireweed's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
Hi Japonick, There is no shawl - I don't think one comes with the dress? I'm pretty sure the measurements are: 36" bust, 29" waist, and 39" hips. Thanks! -
I bought this dress as a sample from a bridal boutique but have changed my mind and am looking for a lace dress instead. It's a Mon Cheri 18107 dress and the sample size is an 8, even though I can't find a tag that says so. This is a gorgeous dress in great condition and would be perfect either for a main dress or a TTD. Here's the link to the designer's website: Designer Dresses | Wedding Dresses | Bridesmaid Dresses | moncheribridals.com And here are some photos: (I have to hold it up as it's a bit big on the bust for me) I paid about $450 for the dress. Asking $350 or best offer, and will only use Paypal. PM me if interested.

Haha definitely don't bring American cash. They won't even take any credit cards associated with American banks. They WILL exchange US funds, but you will pay a penalty. Just bring Canadian money and you'll be good.
-
I think you should try to do it at the airport because the rates are slightly better there. At least that's what we were told last time we went to Cuba.
-
I would definitely recommend working with a travel agent. It doesn't cost you anything and saves you so much work and headaches! The travel agent pretty much takes care of the entire booking and answers any questions you or your guests have. IMO they're invaluable! And I'd recommend Cuba as well. Our guests are paying $1525/person for one week all inclusive at a 4 star resort in Cuba, but that's because we're going at the most expensive time (Christmas break) If you're not going during the busy times like Christmas or Spring break, expect the prices to be a lot cheaper than that.
-
Isn't Cuba wonderful? Good luck on planning your trip! We just booked with Sirenis la Salina for December 19th. If you need a good travel agent let me know since we're in the same city. Ours has been nothing but amazing.
-
That's awesome congrats on the booking! Yeah the Sirenis was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than any of the other comparable resorts, so hopefully it'll be a good choice! Suzanna the wedding coordinator is supposed to be really nice. I just filled out the forms for her, and I guess we can talk about the details closer to the wedding. I'm thinking of the gazebo for the ceremony because I want to wear nice sandals with my dress. Then on the beach we can all take our shoes off.
-
Okay looking at some more photos, I take it back. Both locations look rather pretty. Probably going to go with the Gazebo for the wedding and then the beach for photos.
-
My wedding is over Christmas break this year and we just booked our resort - 8 months ahead. They didn't even have the prices yet for the following year before now. But they should have the prices for March break in the next few months. Book as early as you can as March break fills up fast, as does Christmas break! Good luck!
-
I don't know I just haven't found a lot of photos of weddings there. The gazebo is nice, but it would be nicer if it had some more vegetation around or a view of the water, and the beach is okay, but I don't really like that set up they do on the beach. It just looks kind of cheesy. I guess I'm just being picky! I'm going to see if they can maybe do it on a private part of the beach (the pictures I've seen all have people looking in the background which is kind of annoying) or maybe in a garden somewhere.

December 22nd at Sirenis la Salina, Varadero.
-
We're booked for our wedding down there on December 22nd. It wasn't my first choice, but it had the best price, and it's still a new resort which is nice. I don't like either of the locations I've seen for weddings though (gazebo or beach) Are there any other options for wedding locations?
-
Thanks! I sent you a private message so check your forum inbox! How much was the wedding package and what did it include?
-
Thanks for your review! Do you have any pictures we could see?? I'm considering this resort right now. It's between a couple of different resorts, but this one just feels 'right' somehow, even though it's a bit pricier than the other ones. What's the name/email of the wedding coordinator there?
-
Hello everyone, My fiance and I are getting married over Christmas break in Varadero this year, after much research and a lot of second-guessing about locations. Cuba was always our first choice, so we decided to just go with it and get married in Varadero this December, regardless of the weather (which will hopefully be nice and hot *fingers crossed*) We're looking at a few resorts in Varadero: Tryp Penninsula (my parents have been there and loved it), Paradisus Varadero, Blau Varadero and Iberostar Varadero. The choice will also depend on the prices which we'll be getting soon for our travel agent. For those of you who got married over the winter - how far in advance did you book? Any resort recommendations? A free or reasonable wedding package is a bonus! Thanks! I can't wait to get over this big part of planning and just have little things to focus on.

Dreams Huatulco are there anymore brides?
Fireweed replied to ~Andie~'s topic in Other areas of Mexico Weddings
Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa: Plan Your Wedding The packages are listed here with the prices. The free one doesn't include a meal, or at least it doesn't list it. The one up from the free package is $2060 USD which is the Dreams of Love package. I know it includes a lot of things, but some of them like : # Bride's hairstyling for ceremony # Bride's hairstyling for ceremony # Make-up application for bride # 15% discount on all Spa Treatments (Products not included) # 36 Full color photos and wedding album I don't think I'd even use. We have a photographer friend coming, and I'm doing my own makeup. We won't be using the spa, either. -

I think I'm just being cheap but $2000 seems like a lot for a resort wedding. Especially since I've seen so many other ones around the $1000 that include dinner. Hmm...I don't know. -
Also, Holguin may be a bit warmer than Varadero since it's on the south side of the island? Hmmm
