  7. Congrats and welcome to the forum. As a November bride myself, I know that you're going to feel stressed about everything that has to be done. Relax, and take as much information as you can from the forums!
  8. I absolutely LOVE your dress. I'm having a hard time finding something like it that flatters my body type. Just a note: On your bar list, I think you meant "every" instead of "ever". Awesome job!

  10. My FI and I are avid hockey fans. We've been following this story since it happened, before if you count our bitching about his similar hit in the Jr's tourny. My thoughts and prayers are with your friend!
  11. We have some of those nasty buggers around our summer cottage. We found that using OFF! cans and spraying around the border of windows and doors kept them out. I'm not sure if what you're dealing with is the same kind, but it might be an option for you!
  12. Jennifer, we've booked our Sandals trip for the wedding, but since we booked through a TA, who booked through AirCanada vacations (so many middlemen), I haven't heard from a WC yet. I was under the impression that one would contact me once the trip was booked? As such, I have a few questions. FI and I are doing this wedding on a budget since we're both finishing up school and are going to have some major debt there. We'd like to do the basic, free MS package. We've already ordered invitations matching the purple flowers, so I hope that will still be available! Anyways, we noticed on the site that the reception is only for 2 people, plus the bride and groom. A CSR that I talked to through their site mentioned that we can expand that to fit more guests. Is that true? If so, what is the cost involved? Also, do you know what 'scenery' is available at the Sandals regency St. Lucia for the wedding ceremony? We were hoping for an actual beach setting. ANY information you can provide me will be appreciated. Thanks!

  17. Oh my gosh... this all looks amazing! I may "borrow" some of your ideas for my guests!
  18. Welcome to the forum. You're sure to find everything you need here!
  19. Those are gorgeous! I love the colours. Just think of the amazing keepsake you'll have, since they're "fake", and plus, if they turn out like the picture no one will know the difference!
  20. Thanks for the link. I was looking for something that was a bit more tropical! McToasty, you may want to check out "MyUS". Alot of times when you ship from the address you sign up for, everything can be listed as a gift. I know it's solved a lot of customs issues for my FI and me.
  21. Thank you everyone for such great feedback. It's nice to see some validation of my feelings, just so I know that I'm not the one being a PITA here! My FI and I are definitely going to sit down and take all of this into account, and come up with the best solution!
  22. Unfortunately we have guests interested staying at all 3 resorts, due to the amenities that are available at each. If we don't "restrict" one resort, we can't completely escape our guests, even for a few days.
