    We were just able to book our wedding for Nov 5, 2010. I plan on sending out our STD's at the end of February. I think that 8 months 'formal' notice is enough for our guests, and most are already aware of the wedding location. Since we were JUST able to actually book our wedding date, sending them out earlier than this was just impossible for us. Formal invites will be sent out at the end of March, or as soon as I'm able to get them all put together since I'm taking the DIY route.

    I have a quick questions about your pocketfold invites. I'm planning on doing the same types of invites. The monogram "stamps" that you have on the outside on the ribbon, what are those made from? Just an image on cardstock? Or are they actually stamp like? Thanks!

    You're note a bad bride at ALL! Just remember that this is YOUR wedding. Make it what YOU and your FI want it to be. I feel you on most of these issues... I'm dealing with them as well. Just keep looking towards the finish line, where you'll be married, happy and have some wonderful memories of your wedding.

    That's the exact ring that FI wanted the first time we went shopping. Then he realized that with his [future] job, that a sold band would be better suited. I love the ring though!

    Congratulations! Welcome to the forum... it truly makes planning a DW so much easier! 10.10.10 is going to be a popular date, so make sure to book as early as you can. I know our resort didn't allow booking more than 10 months prior, so resorts that have similar policies will be great for you!

    My advice would be to make sure you DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING! Trying it on every few days will keep in your mind how you need to move forward. Then again, I haven't found "my" dress yet, so my advice may not be the best! Haha
