  1. The shipping shouldn't be too much. If you can give me a few weeks notice, I go to the US quite a bit (Toledo, Ohio area) in which case, the shipping should be less than $10.
  2. Hi ladies, I'm selling my dress. Size 18, but can be altered down. It's such a light, airy dress that would be perfect for a TTD. It hasn't been worn in the water or sand (we had an AHR which last 4 hours, which is the only time it's been worn). Price is $200 OBO. The dress is (so I'm told) no longer being made by David's Bridal. Please PM me if you're interested. Shipping would be from Toronto. Thanks gals! http://reviews.davidsbridal.com/7294/DB3354/t9435-chiffon-over-satin-a-line-with-gathered-bodice-and-beaded-lace-empire-reviews/reviews.htm
  3. Tuesday the 23rd at Yorkdale works perfectly for me.
  4. The starfish I had was sent to Dilara on the 4th, so it's on it's way! Unfortunately I wasn't able to use it since my wedding was canceled due to Hurricane Tomas, but I hope it has many more wedding memories! dc22173's CLEAR starfish line-up: 1 ) Shoesiesluvr - Sept 20, 2010 - October 6, 2010 Cancun, Mexico 2 ) Futuremrsjrj - Oct 14-16, 2010 Las Vegas, NV 3 ) DWbridetobe - October 30 - November 8, 2010, St. Lucia 4 ) Dilara - November 21-28, 2010, GPR in Playa del Carmen 5 ) breeze616 – December 6 – 16th Iberostar Rose Hall, Montego Bay 6 ) kateandbri - January 8th-15th, Melia Caribe, Punta Cana 7 ) CarribeanBride - Feb 6th-13th 2011- Dreams Palm Beach, Punta Cana 8 ) Teira1031 - April 1,2011 - April 14, 2011 Dreams los cabos 9 ) Hockeymom97 - April 30 - May 9, Turks and Caicos *(To be confirmed with bride before)* 10 ) susanna.hanson - June 17, 2011, Cabo San Luca 11 ) Kathie - 10/14/11 through 110/29/11, Aruba
  5. I'm available for a get-together. Midweek works fine, but it seems like Yorkadale has been the most convenient place in the past for everyone to get together.
  6. Hey ladies, my wedding was scheduled for Friday of this week (and we were supposed to leave this past Sunday) at the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia. Unfortunately, the airport was down and my entire trip has been canceled. My travel agent (whom has a representative on the island) has said that most of the resorts suffered no damage, and as soon as the roads are functional again, everything will be good to go. She's estimating 4 months MAX. With your wedding being in July, I'm positive that everything will be perfect by then.
  7. We're having an AHR at Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax. The prices are a bit pricey when you start adding everything, but what we found that was perfect for us, is that they have a "Destination Wedding Reception" package. You may want to take a look. http://74.205.99.190/cms/content/ARF-30Q/binary/article/attachment/AW3-E9/normal
  8. I'll update everyone the moment I know it's in transit or I receive it. I leave in about a week and a half, so I'm hoping we can get it to me before I leave. I'll be returning November 7th, and can send it back out on the 8th to Dilaria.
  9. I'm pretty disappointed. I got a DM saying that the person ahead of me never received the starfish. I had thought of purchasing my own from an online store a few months ago, but choose to join in on this instead. Now I'm wishing I had, just for "insurance". Bummer.
  10. I'll be honest, I'm a little concerned about someone using it a few days before me, since it would be traveling to Canada when she mails it to me. I've seen things get hung up in customs for a while. I'm fine with her being added to the list though. Â I'm able to mail the starfish back out the day after I get home on the 7th so if whoever would like it after me, if they think it's enough time to get to them, I'm fine with that as well.
  11. I unfortunately won't be crossing at Niagara. I'd be happy to pack it up and ship it to you though! Shipping should only be about $4.

  13. Wow.. thanks for all the detail. It all looks amazing. Congratulations!
  14. What a great find! These will make perfect favours for our AHR!
  15. Both days are good for me. bikegirl, Renee and Sarah.. I need your addresses! Can you please PM them to me?
  16. They look great! I'm planning on doing a very similar centerpiece for our AHR, and it's good to see what they'll look like! Thanks for posting.
  17. Wow, it all looks great. And I have to disgree with you... your TTD dress doesn't make you look pregnant. I think it's gorgeous!
  18. 2 years isn't too soon, just make sure that whatever you begin planning.. you won't change your mind about. We started planning about 10 months in advance because that's the earliest our resort would take bookings for a wedding. Sometimes I feel like it wasn't enough time, but that's LARGELY to do with my procrastination! I started wedding dress shopping about 15 months in advance though! I was just too excited to put it off! Good luck!
