Good point Manders! I guess that was my issue there. Of course he isnt just going to think "Oh, she isnt feeling good. Maybe I should help out a little" lol I guess that is a lot to ask

I love doing things for my husband.. but sometimes it really annoys me that he doesnt PAY ATTENTION and do more. I take care of the bills, and the shopping, and the cooking, and a lot of the cleaning. Which for the most part is fine.. but this morning I had a headache, which I told him right before we got out of bed. He said "Oh hun, I am sorry" and then gets up and goes DIRECTLY to the shower.. didnt start the coffee, didnt let the dogs out, didnt make the bed, didnt make his lunch.. NOTHING.. so I did it all.. as usual.. then when I come out of the bathroom from putting my make up on.. he is sitting on the couch.. watching the news... doing NOTHING! He already started his car.. didnt start MINE! oh no!! that would be PAYING ATTENTION!! I just DO NOT get it sometimes!

Thanks everyone No, I had no issues bringing the flowers.. but to be honest. They never checked my bags. When we went through customs they had us press a button that randomly picked if your bags would be checked.. and everyone in my party went through without being checked. so I dont know if there would have been an issue if they would have.. but I have heard of a lot of girls bringing them with no problems

My flowers Paid a little extra because I wanted orchids. I think it was called an "exotic flower upgrade" or something. Totally worth it! Here is a pic of all of us with our flowers. It isnt the clearest pic though. Sorry! This is my husbands bout. The other guys looked pretty much exactly the same. I think they were a LITTLE smaller.. but not much OK Here is a pic with the best mans bout too more of the girls flowers

We had 32 people including us, and we made quite a dent in the cake.. but there was some left. They sent about 7 or 8 pieces back with us so we could share it with everyone. We didnt do that lol we ate it all ourselves because it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! I would say that it is totally worth getting the cake! Even with all of the food we had people still were happy to eat it

Well said Rachel! Everyone told me that it would go by really fast.. but I had no idea HOW fast! We got married, took pictures, ate dinner, had the toasts, then dancing and then BAM! Time to get back on the boat! It was nuts lol

I was only a few days into our trip to Jamaica when we got engaged! We couldnt tell anyone by phone because it would cost an arm and a leg.. so I told my mom by IM on FB lol but waitied until I got back to call everyone else before I posted it.

I know how you feel. I ran into these excuses a lot when we were leading up to our wedding. You find out a lot about people when you plan something like this. We had a lot of people that we would have NEVER thought would book.. and then some of the people that we thought wouldnt miss it had some LAME-O excuses. It is amazing.

It is TOTALLY worth it!! I dont know what package you got.. but we got the "best" one mostly because it was the one with the most amount of time that you can spend on Caletas! It was SO MUCH fun! It was a little more than we really wanted to spend but it was the best wedding I could have asked for!

Thats too bad that he is over your budget. I thought he was very reasonable compared to the others that I emailed. But he did launch a new site and stuff so maybe he raised him prices some. There are some that my wedding planner recommended that I can get you links to as well if you would like

I can't imagine doing it any orher way. We knew that we didnt want to have a "resort" wedding where everyone walking on the beach could see too. The privacy alone was one of the biggest sellers!

That is EXACTLY how I felt about Las Caletas! We didnt even look anywhere else. It was perfect!

I didnt do a TTD with him, but he does have a few of the recent ones that he has done on his website right now! And I see you are in Bend, Oregon. Another good thing about Nate is that he lives in Portland. If you wanted to meet him, you can. I know that it would be a drive but it might put your mind at ease. We got to meet up with him over Christmas (when I was home.. since I am from Portland) and it was GREAT

Yes, lots of people pay to have a photog travel to their wedding. That is what happened with Nate. He actually lives in Oregon and was already going to be in PV shooting a wedding when I was there.
