    This is a great post. These are things that I am going to have to think about as well. But, we will be having a cocktail hour so that we can get our pictures taken and the guests will have something to do while we are doing that. we didnt want everyone standing around with nothing to do while we took the formal pics

    I have a one of these cameras (buried in a drawer somewhere) and haven't used it in awhile. It is true that they have stopped making the film, so I am not sure that a book like this would be a good idea anymore. Though, if you do find some film for it.. the pictures turn our alright. I mean, they arent the most flattering pictures.. but not bad. Also, I think that if you keep the pictures in a photo album (Not letting them sit in a box where a lot of air and dust can get to them) they should not fade too much We have decided to go with this.. a little easier and still different

    I told my mom (who lives in another state) that we were going to get legally married before the first one the year for tax reasons and she cried!! She was so sad that she couldnt be there that I told her that we changed our minds and are going to wait until Mexico. Of course we didnt, but from that point on we decided not to tell ANYONE!! We dont consider it our "real" wedding so there is really nothing to tell. And I dont want anyone to have the same reaction that my mom did.

    Exactly! No one needs to know. I just dont wear my wedding band around family and I will wait to change my name until after our real wedding! No harm no foul. Totally thought about the hassle we would have to go through in Mexico! Didnt sound like fun when you can just run down to the courthouse really quick! MUCH easier!

    We got married already. Our wedding isnt until May, but we married in December to see if we could get a better tax return and maybe help pay for the wedding! Win/Win BUT we have not told ANYONE! We didnt want it to take away from our wedding for anyone else. We were afraid that some people would wonder why they would have to go all that way if we were "already married"... so it is out little secret! lol

    Thank you ladies!!!! The stone is a green tourmaline. I love it so much! I was never really much of a diamond girl. For some reason I have always loved colored stones more.

    We will be at Dreams on the 8th through the 15th (though I think that some of our weddinf guests miiiiight be staying a few days longer than us lol) I agree that the resort looks on the smaller side. Totally funny that we are staying at the same place. That will make it easier on the photographer
