    I haven't read the rest of the answers yet.. but I want to say that I do NOT think that you are a bad bride! I got some flack about the choice to have a DW too. And let me tell you, it didnt make me feel bad AT ALL! This is my day and I want everyone to be able to make it.. but I will be darned if I am going to plan my wedding for everyone else.. you know? The people that really want to be there will make it.. and you should tell the rest that while you appreciate what they have to say.. it really isnt helpful. sooooooo they can get on board and help.. or they can stay home..

    Hello ladies! I searched and could not really find anything for this. My friend is planning an Irish themed wedding, but it isn't a DW so she isn't on this board. I thought I would post something really quick to see if anyone knows of any good ideas or websites that she can check out to help her get start. She is trying to do everything herself and is getting a little overwhelmed. Thanks!!!!!

    Totally possible! I only started planning my wedding in December! And it is in May. So, you have a few more months than I do. I think someone did already point out that it will; probably be a popular date, but if you are flexible on the location you shouldnt have a problem!

    I personally would be honest. I really wanted to make sure that my girls were comfortable and happy with what they were wearing, which is why I let THEM pick the style of dress they wear. I know that I wouldnt want to spend money on something that I dont feel good in. And I am sure that she wouldnt want that for you either. I would just try being honest with her about how you feel. I am sure that she will understand and be happy to work with you so that you feel good.

    Hi ladies! Somewhere out there in the land of wedding pictures that I have looked at, I saw that someone used a shadow box for their sand ceremony! SO COOL! But for the life of me, I can't find that picture (or many other pictures for that matter) and I was hoping to see if anyone else may have done this. If you have, a picture would be SUPER helpful!!

    We got married in December, but our actual wedding is in May. We wanted to get married before the first of the year to try to get a better tax return to help pay for the wedding :) and also to save money and time on the hoops you have to jumo though in Mexico. the nice thing about Montana is that you dont need a witness. So we havent (and wont be) telling anyone!
