Dreams Tulum was one of our top choices and actually we did eliminate it because it was so far. Heard it's worth it though.... Happy Planning and congrats on the engagement!

Yes yes Echo- I want to see too! I actually ordered one of those convertible dresses from Avon, thinking it might work for my BM. It was a longshot since it is Avon but I thought worst case scenerio- I'm out $35. They came and the quality was horrible. She ended up sending them back actually which worked out well for me. Did you order online from VS? Did they have different colors? I think I will go check out the website right now actually. Pam- Don't get discouraged. You will find the perfect dress. Everybody does. FYI to all ... actual BM dresses in the bridal shops take 3 months to order so keep that in mind. I am a MOH this summer and we went in and ordered my dress last week. Ended up paying an extra $50 (on top of a 200 dress!) so I'd get it in time. This is really irritating since they don't even custom fit. I ordered a standard size 10 and still am goingto have to pay for alterations. So tell me, why does it take so long to get? Also that $50 rush charge only guarantees it's there 2 weeks earlier than normal. CRAZY!

Boo, I think the mall is a great idea! I'm hoping to do that for mine. I should be getting on it soon actually. Problem is my sister is such a diva "Nothing looks good on her" (her words not mine) If you find some good suggestions, pls let me know! We went to Market Mall a couple of weeks ago and actually there was quite alot that would work. Again... sister was the problem! Laura had some really nice ones so don't rule it out just because you never shop there (like I originally did)

hey I know i'm being annoying but i went to the website and the color "tiffany blue" is different in every single dress they have! Can you tell me what it's closest too? Is it similar to what they show in the dress 767 photo? Every other tiffany blue in other dresses are different... hmmm? I even tried calling all the places in Calgary that carry MoriLee and no one has it in stock as a sample. Grrrr.

A girl I graduated with (whom I haven't seen in nearly 10 years!) just got married here last week. She posted pics on facebook which look beautiful. I can't wait to pick her brain and I'll pass on any info I think you ladies would be interested in. So far, she has told me that she married on the gazebo because the beach was wayyyyy windy. I suppose that is just a weather issue though. Also, she recommended getting my wedding dress drycleaned down there because it is way cheaper. Who knew?! Also, she had so many great things to say about Daniela! That's good news too!

Modern Bridal is just off of 17th (not far off of sarcee side) It's a small place but the dresses are all beautiful and in plastic so it's nice to try them on. It is owned by an asian lady and her older mother (who is too freakin funny btw!) They are the best part of this experience because it is so small they dote all over you. I really can't say enough great things about them! Their address is 100,1935- 37th Street SW Good Luck! I hope you can recognize the one you love right away and not be an idiot like yours truly!

Bought my new dress on Saturday and I'm totally in love! I'm so relieved... even with the extra dough that i had to fork out. LOVE IT!

FI's outfit is the worst! I've been on him like a month about it and he's like yaya I'll find something to wear. HA we'll see. Also, my sis (MOH) is looking for something to wear too. She's one of those "arg nothing looks good on me. Makes my butt look big..." it's endless.

Just checked out the website and their prices are fantastic! Plus, the dresses are beautiful too! I've never heard of them but I'd probably be a little leary. You know what they say, "if it seems to good to be true...it probably is!" Good Luck with it though and be careful. I really do hope it works out for you

I really hope that all resorts are like this and it's not just that we picked the most non-contactable hotel in Mexico!

If it makes you feel better, I haven't dealt with Daniela at all. Maybe they just split the brides between the two of them so that's why you only hear from Daniela. I would do like Angie said and keep trying to call. Are you using ext. 8046? I bet that voicemail fills up daily with questions about the new resort so I'd just keep trying. I'm sure they are just swamped with May/June brides so I'll probably just leave the emails and contacting until a bit later but do let us know what you find out. Good Luck!

ok I'm officially a "two dress bride". Oh god, what did I do? I bought "the dress that got away" yesterday. And actually I thought I'd be freakin out about it but I feel stangely calm about spending basically double to find "the dress" Guess that's how I know I made the right decision. Now I've gotta get rid of dress #1 (or is it considered dress # 2 ?!) lol
