Sorry to hear about your Dad, Wendy! Glad that he is recovering so well though. That is amazing! Try not to get too stressed out about wedding stuff.... sometimes it doesn't feel like it, but there are wayyyyyy more important things in life.... like taking care of yourself (and Dad!) Everyday I'm like "K, I'm going to start eating better" Never happens though. My first fitting will be beginning of August. Hope the dress still fits or I will def have to step it up a notch! If it doesn't do up then I guess that has MOTIVATION written all over it. Let's hope it doesn't get to that point....EVER! HA

Yes Boo- I did buy two wedding dresses! I actually should have went with my first instinct because I found one last year and LOVED it. Didn't love the price and went for a cheaper one in Feb. .... then went BACK and bought the first one anyways! Geez. Sandy- I got my sister's BM dress from Le Chateau. I am a flight attendant. And i assure you, it is almost NEVER this exciting! Met Elvis Costello earlier on in the week. The only reason is was so star-studded was because they had some sort of film/TV festival in Banff this week and everyone was flying home to LA! I actually wish I could have gone for drinks though! I was so ticked. How many ended up going??

Apparently she spoke to the resort's wedding department. Not sure if you knew this already (i didn't) Cecilia's last day was saturday and her position was taken over by Alexandra. I was told Alexandra will take care of us up until a month before the wedding then we will be transferred to Daniela for the "finer" details at our one month mark. I also got a couple pages of resort info (like bar names and random stuff) if you want me to send it to you.... Hi Jen! Don't get too carried away pleasing everyone with a date and a perfect resort. As ktchi said, you will probably second guess yourself up until the day of your wedding so don't stress. Remember, you are in Mexico. It will be perfect!

I'm soooo bummed I missed our night tonight. I ended up having to work but on the bright side I did get to meet William Shatner, Eric McCormack (will & grace) and Jason Preisley (he's so cute) I thought about showing up at 8 when I was off but wasn't sure if you ladies would have still been there. next time!! Hope you had fun!

OMG Wendy! There's an elephant behind you! Maybe you should see how much to get your logo imprinted on them. You could go to a local store that does it and price it out. Might be worth the $$! Glad someone is having nice weather. We've seen the sun twice in the last month! It's pathetic and depressing

haha Jenny I posted a reply to you on the wrong thread! whoops! Basically said, I'm on call thursday evening so if I'm around I'll manage my own way in. REALLY REALLY appreciate the offer though! Next time, we'll do that! Also, I did originally look into Claudia Rodriguez. That was my first choice because a friend of mine used one of her photogs and LOVED the pics. I had forgotten that I had looked into her so I dug out the archives and found her price list. Pretty good if you only need 3 hours but I'd like longer and it's not in the budget... unless I tweak my budget HAHA For now I think I will see what the resort photographer looks like and go from there.

That is really sweet of you Jenny to offer to go in together. I'd totally take you up on that offer too if I knew I could come for sure. I won't know until that day if I can make it as I will be on call for work that night. So make it a no for me but I will come if I'm around. I'm sure you girls can sqeeze me in as a last minute. I really hate being on call. I can never make concrete plans. Oh well... this might work out in the end.

I've resorted to emailing ANY and ALL email addresses I've ever recieved from them (or that I can find on the website) All I want is a calculator and maybe a more detailed version of the packages. I also was thinking that the packages looked a bit cheaper for us. I think I will go on trip advisor and read some reviews to cheer me up! I haven't looked there in about a month and they were all negative back then so they've gotta be better now!

Angie, has the sales manager ever called you back after that first call? Did you ever recieve the new romance calculator? I was just looking at the new wedding packages and am not sure which one I will pick now. Lauren, have you heard anything? Ktchi is getting married this Saturday and I CANT WAIT to hear what she thought of everything!

Wow Michele and Hat that is a really nice idea. Shipping to Canada is $26! That would be one expensive frame for me... although now I want one! lol maybe I could get creative and try to make one.
