Congrats and welcome to the forum. Like Girasole I will also be getting married in Turks & Caicos November 13th 2010. We chose T&C for several reasons: close proximity to Miami, its beautiful beaches, its not overly developed (as in huge sprawling resorts) and it has a true Caribbean feel. It is a little bit more expensive than most other destinations but we have a wonderful wedding coordinator and the resort we chose is more than worth it. Happy planning!

Hi Ladies, I am not getting married at Beaches but I am getting married in T&C. Was wondering what options were offered to you ladies in terms of music/djs/entertainment. I am looking for alternatives to what my resort recommends. Anyone book their dj yet and if so do you mind sharing the price and name of the dj. Thanks!

I agree be sure to insure your ring. Gem Shield and Chubb are the two best jewelry insurers and trusted and used by a large number of Diamond and Gem brokers for years, but they also have individual policies for people and I have found that in the event something does happen they cut you a check right away....unlike most other insurance companies. Make sure you insure everything and you'll be fine no matter what happens.
