  1. There are tons of brides on here that have skipped the save-the-dates and went straight to the invites. I don't see anything wrong with it. We send out save-the-dates 1 year before our wedding (October 2009) because we knew we wanted to get married in T&C but we didn't have the actual resort booked until (December) so the STD was very general and just said Turks & Caicos. As for the double envelope issue, its entirely up to you. My mom thought we should have used double envelopes so that the pretty envelope with the Calligraphy and letterpress didn't get ruined with stamps and just the wear and tear of mailing things but I couldn't be bothered. I wanted the outside to be letterpressed and fancy with Calligraphy so that even as it went through the mailing process everyone could tell there was something special inside. And wouldn't you know it one of my friends told her the post man said to her as he was delivering her mail..."Looks like you got invited to a real fancy wedding or party there". Its up to you, some people do it and some don't, it just depends on how you feel about it.
  2. Congrats and welcome to the forum. Happy planning!
  3. I think because of the neckline of your TTD I would go with #2. I think #3 is a bit chunky/bulky looking and well #1 looks very bride-ish. If you wanted to go for the bride-ish look I say #1, but if you wanted to look a bit more fun and tropical you can't go wrong with #2. They are all beautiful pieces by the way!
  4. Thanks Cindy!!! Ok so, so far its seems #2 is a winner, I'm still torn though cause I like them both and I agree with you Janapana, you can never have too much bling!!!

  11. MysTea I swear we are definitely sisters from different mothers...lol! How is your pregnancy coming along. Sending light and love your way and to baby. How is the planning coming?
  12. Did you mean mini #1? without the bling? I was thinking that too.....but somewhere in my head I keep asking, is there every any such thing as too much bling?
  13. Thanks ladies for all the input. Thanks Jenngene!!! I think for now I will keep my format as is. If it needs adjusting once I get there then I will do so.
  14. Welcome to the forum. A great and quick way to bring all the information to your fingertips is also by using the search engine. Or you can head over the the Islands section and search the Bahamas threads.
  15. Hi Ladies, so I am starting to zero in on the little pieces of my attire; earrings, hair flower, etc. I don't know which hair flower to get. I am torn between the mini with a rhinestone center and the mini without rhinestones in the center. I am worried that the one with the rhinestones will be too blingy (my dress has little sparkles and then I want to get chandelier blingy earrings). What do you ladies think? Mini #1 has no bling? or Mini #2 with bling in the center? Here is a pic of my dress
  16. Welcome and happy planning!
