Awwww! They do this at a resort on the island I grew up on (Mt. Irvine Hotel, Tobago). They wake guests up when the leather back turtles come up on shore to lay eggs and they wake you up to see the babies go back into the water, because leather back turtles are endagered the whole experience is so cool. I don't think they let you take pictures or get too close but it is just so cool to watch. There are a few other resorts in Tobago that allow it but Mt. Irvine is the most famous cause scientist and researchers have publicized that one the most.

I put together my survival kits before but everything else I will put into the bags when I get there. Quite a few of my guests will be arriving before FI and I, which I don't know if I should just ask for their rooms numbers and deliver them in person when I get there or what? Alot of our guests get there Wednesday around noon. We get there Wednesday night around 9pm. Urgh! You sound like me with my veil....one minute I want one....next minute I don't. I am so undecided.

I'm glad I found this thread. I have two dresses so far for my rehearsal dinner yet. I was wondering what other ladies were wearing cause I was torn between a white dress I bought that is short, fun and flirty and a gold dress I bough that is a little more sophisticated. I don't have pics of either but will try to post soon. FutureMrsWagner beautiful dresses. Do tell where you got them from......I have the same habit of falling in love with dresses.

You can try asking the resort for a more clever name for the dish. I got a friend of mine who is a chef to customize a menu for us and I gave that to the resort. Sometimes the chef can come up with a more clever name like Grilled Chicken in creamy petite shrimp sauce or glaze or something. I do agree though that people should know shrimp is included in case anyone has allergies.

We are having an engagement party/AHR in October, a month before our wedding. We had some friends of mine throw us a surprise engagement party back in September after we got engaged but it was very small and really only my friends. So a mutual friend of both FI and I asked if they could throw us an even bigger engagement party with both of our friends and family. The guest list is the same invitees for our wedding. We are hoping those that can't make it to Turks & Caicos will make it to this party. We had to have it in October due to FI's practice and travel schedule. I'm not involved in the planning of it though as our friends want it to be a surprise again....sort of. I know it will be held at the Four Seasons, and I know the guest list is the same as our wedding, and that she will be incorporating the use of my wedding colors into it, but other than that I don't know much else about it. But I am excited! Its a non-traditional sort of engagement party/AHR but then again not much about us is traditional! LOL!

I hear ya on the slowing down on planning. I think I have finally hit a wall! I am still excited, but I just feel like I need a little bit of a break. I still have to order my water bottles and the OOT bags themselves which I am going to get from discountmugs and I am just waiting for them to have another 20% off sale. They currently have a 10% off sale this week.....I'm gonna wait. I still have to go try on my dress to see if it needs any alterations, but I haven't been able to find any time, because after being away from my house for 2 months........LORD! 3more months to go...can you believe it? I haven't seen NicoleDeb around in a while, I wonder how things are going with her.
