  2. Yay!! I'm so jealous. Can't wait to see pics! Have a wonderful time.
  3. Congrats on the wedding sounds amazing. I hate cancun airport. We waited over an hour to get thru customs, YUCK!! It took longer in Cancun than Jamaica or the Bahamas or anyplace in the US. CONGRATS!! I'd love to see pics.
  4. Love the shoes Kate and Chipotle!! I'm looking for a great pink/fushia heel.

    Hi everyone!

    Congrats and have fun planning!!
  11. WOO HOO!!!!! I'm so happy for you and your future daughter. She will never forget the part she will play in the wedding. Now get that passport QUICK, your wedding date is fast approaching. Have a great time.
  12. Have a great time. Just offer to carry his bags instead of your own!! Agree with others, as long as he has wedding attire, don't worry about the rest of it. He may be wearing stinky socks by the flight home but you'll be married!!! Can't wait to see pics and read the review!!

None in stock here, I ended up with white so I could have it delivered Friday (I really need to do laundry this weekend, we are leaving for a trip to Vegas on Monday). FI better learn quickly how to use, he does laundry at least half of the time. Today was much better!! thanks everyone.
  14. Very cute. I'm looking for dressy wedges as well. May have to check them out.
  15. Agree with Christina, I would probably have the children stand with you at the wedding as your wedding party then you can have your mom and step dad walk you down the aisle. Or conversely have your parents as wedding party (not sure it that is "legal" per Ms Manners) and have your children walk you down the aisle. Its your day and do what you want. I'm having my mom and step dad walk me down the aisle. I walked myself down the first time.
  16. This is my first vent and it is NOT related to my wedding at all so sorry but I need to vent. My morning started out with my hairdryer blowing up (popping noise followed by smoke) so I decided to McGyver it and and dry/sort of do my hair with my flat iron. Not a great outcome, but okay enough to pull back in a clip and go on with my day. Before getting dressed, I hear the dreaded "hairball hack" to find my wonderful old black cat hurling in the middle of the bedroom floor. Got that cleaned up and made it to work, only 5min late... pretty good all things considered. Work went well, busy morning but nothing bad, other than the usual patient upset that he thought he waited too long (even though he came to clinic an hour before his appt and was seen within 5min of appt time). Phone call from the repairman (washer wouldn't spin), he's en route to the house, run out of clinic just in time to meet him where he quickly evaluates the washer and tells me the part/labor will be $350 to replace a transmission. Who even knew washers had transmissions. Quick conversation with FI, we'll buy a new one, its 12 years old and who knows how long it will live after the transmission replacement. So this afternoon/tomorrow will need to study washers and pick out a replacement. Budget is not going to balance for the wedding savings this month but that'll be okay. We have been sticking to it for the past 3 months. Oh and lets see, this afternoon I have an appt for a bikini wax (and my hairdresser will see my crappy hair for the day)!! Sorry to vent, just needed to get it off my chest. Anyone love (or hate) their washer? I'm open to suggestions; I like the red ones!
  17. Hi! Welcome to the forum and congrats on the engagement. You'll find tons of helpful people and information here. First try to make a list of priorities for your location and go from there. I don't think it hurts to review the requirements for a legal ceremony in the different countries. Enjoy!!

  19. Hi Mecca, welcome to the forum. There is tons of info on here. Iplanned to run away to Jamaica and do nothing, and I've already DYI'ed my own STD and invites, ordered OOT "goodie" bags. Have fun and enjoy your wedding in 38 short days!!
  20. White Cosmo (which were a huge hit as the signature cocktail for our christmas party called a white poinsetta) although on the beach, any sweet/fruity drink is good, yellow bird or rum punch.
