  1. I'm not too worried about it, we can always move the wedding to an indoor location. Weather in Jamaica in October | jamaica-guide.info
  2. We will probly have 10 or less, including ourselves. I hoped some more friends/family would be able to attend but doesn't look like it will happen. Just as long as FI and I are there, it will be perfect!

Giuseppe Zanotti E00063 at Zappos.com LOL!! I hope that you girls got as much of a kick our of those as I did!! Obviously I am kidding about the shoes. But I do REALLY love all of your ideas with the rhinestones! I can't wait to see the finished product!! Just what I've been looking for. Hope they can overnight them for the 7/4 holiday events.
  4. I had pizza for dinner tonight. Bad for me, but very tasty!!
  5. skadow, thanks, I appreciate it. i officially became old when I drove off the lot with a 4 door car. but it has been useful this week and it keeps me from putting miles on my boxster. its growing on me but I feel like I'm driving a boat its soo long. I understand how you feel about kids in weddings too. I refused to have any in my first wedding (in laws not too happy but I didn't give in). This time, no bridal party just the 2 of us so no kids to cry/scream or throw down the petals...
  6. Funny. Aisha, I learned many years ago that your left thumb and first/pointer finger make an L when you look at them. You should see me in a car trying to give directions, quite humorous.
  7. here's my confession and I sound like a spoiled B**ch. I was mad at FI last weekend bc he "made" me get another car. We both have 2 seat vehicles: my sporty convertible and his little truck. We needed a car to carry around family and even grocery shopping, but I HATED the thought of a 4 door car. I finally gave in and picked a cute-ish 3 series, used. Two days later my dad was rushed to the hospital and I used it 3 days this week to transport family members to/from the hospital. So now I like my new car, but I still love my sports car and its been garaged over a week!! I did tell FI how I felt about it and now I can laugh at it but last weekend I was fairly mad at him.
  8. Glenny05, welcome to the group, our big days are quickly approaching... Runningbride, thats right, he said "cancer" was a contraindication to using the zoom, something about possible free radical production. I've been researching online and all I've found is melanoma as a contraindication. I plan to call Discus Dental (maker of Zoom) and see which is right. I'd prefer to use Zoom but not if its not safe for me. I had cervical cancer and had a hysterectomy so no more cancer but I'll follow the manufacturer/dentist recommendations. btw, did you get your mugs?

Hey MsSmithTobe, yes, I saw the Digipix prices, but I wasn’t sure it that applied to us at Iberostar or not. I guess Nicole will get back to us more quickly the closer we get to the wedding. I agree with you Jonesr, it would be nice to see who Digipix gets back to. Wendyjd, I checked out your link for Marcia Roberts. Looks like some very happy brides. The photo’s are very nice, and the testimonials are great. Thanks for the advice. I wonder if the price is $75 to bring in an outside photographer like the IBRbeach that PrincessJ had said. Did Marcia email a price list to you? She quotes you for day, depending on different factors. Shoot her an email with date/time of wedding/location and she will give you a price or at least a phone call for more questions and a quote. She includes the pass in the price.
  10. I brought my dad home from the hospital today after a big heart attack this week.
  11. Haven't been on much this week, just took my dad home from the hospital, he had a heart attack but had an amazing recovery. Tue he was life-flighted to the hospital and was in ICU on a ventilator and a pacemaker and today he WALKED (no wheelchair!!) to the car. So I agree weight loss is all about more calories expended than ingested... no magic pills or anything. I had a patient yesterday who lost 20 pounds in 3-4mo just by adhering to a diabetic diet and walking 3-4 days a week. For teeth whitening I planned to do Zoom but was told by my dentist that I'm not a candidate as I had cancer so instead I'm doing the trays and whitening gel. I saw results after 2 days. I like the listerine whitening rinse before you brush too.
  12. Jeri-Lee, love the idea of a sash/belt. I have the same dress and I was planning to change the back to a corset with hot pink ribbon. Great idea, and I agree, I was shocked with the dresses at DB, very good, esp for the price. Great pics and sounds like a beautiful day. Congrats.
  13. Not to give you more to be confused about but I ended up choosing Marcia Roberts. Her prices are very reasonable and the quality pics are very good. She responds to emails and will even call you to talk about details. She has very good reviews on this site as well. website: Jamaica wedding photographer , Marcia Roberts, Negril, Ocho Rios ,Montego Bay, Kingston, www.jamaicanphotography.com
  14. Congrats and have a wonderful wedding and vacation!!!

Anyway, just wanted to vent, and also say I love all your shoes! Everyone has such great, unique and wondeful taste! Cheers Hey CND Redhead, this is the best I found. I'm not short but I truly love heels!! I plan to add some shoe clips or something to finish them. Good luck!! Enzo Angiolini 'Padi' Wedge Slingback - Wedges - Nordstrom
  16. Hi all, busy weekend, no wedding stuff still. More time after tomorrow (bunco nite). bought a used car (second one, daily driver) yesterday. been stressed about spending the money before the wedding but we had budgeted for it so I shouldn't be but its how I am. I hate spending money when I have a perfectly good (absolutely love) car but I'm putting too many miles on it and we both have 2 seater cars/trucks so now we can take another couple or family out with us. will talk more tomorrow nite.
  17. Sorry to hear about your poor experience with the WC at the Hyatt. Thank goodness you had a great photographer and rabbi to take over the reigns. Everything (except the chuppa) look great. I'm sure your guests had no idea. Congrats on the wedding!!
