Congrats on giving notice, it really sucks that they asked you to take leave so they could do a "working" interview. I think you'll be much better off in the long run out of that office. Regarding your health problems, will your insurance continue/can you get COBRA coverage?? You need to make sure to take care of yourself, even if finances are tight. If you aren't healthy, the rest doesn't matter. I hope you are able to determine the cause and treat it. Sending positive thoughts your way!!

I disagree with most. if its an hour away from work and 1/2 hour from home, it wouldn't be worth my time. I'd go somewhere else and just not rebook due to distance/schedule... I really dislike dealing with conflict and this is one thats easily avoidable imo and not too costly.

I showed my FI this thread earlier in the week and tonight I can say he has 3 different pair of linen pants and a linen shirt, still looking for at least one maybe 2 more (for the ttd day). Thanks again BDW sisters!! Now on to the shoes.

Hey Betty, congrats on the quickly approaching wedding. I don't think a menu is required. I don't plan to make one however as the time draws closer I keep thinking of things I "need" to do, so I'm not really a help on this. However a timeline is a great idea. Never hurts to remind people when/where to be.

Sorry for your frustrations. I feel your pain. We are about 2 weeks before you and in the exact same situation, not even my parents have booked!!! I know they are coming, they ordered and received passports but I truly think my mom wants me to book for her, which I refuse... it was one of the big reasons to use a TA versus an online site. Anyway, chin up, as long as you and FI are there, anyone else is gravy. Have fun, try not to let it get you down.

I have a feeling that will be me. I find every reason possible to try on my dresses. Tried on with my necklace, then again when I found my earrings, now I try to limit to once a month!!!

Just got home from Zumba class, first one, starting twice weekly classes...plan to add to my "regular" routine of at least 3 days a week.

Cougs and Miss Delerium, totally understand the feelings. I'm 37 and am childless and THRILLED with it. Had recurrent cervical cancer and at 32 was told to have one if I wanted one bc every procedure would make it harder and the "cure" was a hysterectomy. I was all for surgery but my now ex-husband tried to convince me to have a child. So fast forward 5 years, I'm cancer free, much happier and about to marry my best friend. My FH is thrilled with the concept of a lifetime together without the restrictions kids provide. I understand that we may be the minority but more and more couples are choosing this... just read an article on MSN about the growing numbers of "childless by choice" couples. I didn't mean to go on a vent but I totally agree with you.
