Thanks mwhite! I printed them on a laser printer at work The creme envelopes I got at The Paper Poet and the yellow jackets I made for cardstock from there as well. I folded the 8.5 x 11 page in thirds and cut off the top third. I made a diagonal cut on the left side and I glued the top and right sides down. Pretty easy! Good luck! Lisa:) Â

Thanks for the complements ladies! Sorry for the delayed response.. been a little busy... I'm sure you can relate So I created our idea in Microsoft Publisher (which I've attached) then I showed it to a friend of mine who hapens to be a graphic designer and she turned it into what you see in the pic. Our save the dates are done and in the mail! I decided to construct them while my FI was away on business to keep me busy while he was away... that was a mistake because I could have really used the help! Oh well lesson learned... Materials: Hong Kong Cardstock (8.5x11) – The Paper Poet White Cardstock (8.5x11) – Michaels Brads – Michaels Ribbon – Paper Poet Envelopes – Paper Poet Supplies: Paper cutter, 2” round punch, hole punch, glue stick, double sided adhesive, bone, scissors, round punch, perforator, hole punch & ruler. Entire save the date cost including postage and materials (I already own the supplies): approximately $130.00/75 or $1.73/save the date... not bad at all!

Unfortunately I think $1300 is a little optimistic... sorry We are orginially from Toronto but are living in Vancouver (all our family is in TO) and we were hoping for $1700 Van & $1500 TO for Mexico in May and found that was kind hard to match we managed to book the Dreams Riviera Cancun at $1700 Van & $1600 TO! Is changing the month an option? April/May tends to be cheaper... I hope you find something that works with your budget!

Great photos! You look gorgeous and everyone looks like they are having a blast! If you don't mind, I have a few questions for you... Was you reception on the pool deck or at the Seaside Grill? Did you have a DJ? How many people attended? Your wedding is very similar to how I picture mine so your picture are super excitiong for me! Thanks for sharing
