Hi Ladies, I need your help. I am very stressed about how to pick the resort without knowing what the price will be for our guests. Prices are just starting to come out and I've gotten two quotes that are too high but have been told by the TA that prices will drop down after the summer. Do I just book the resort now and hope that prices come down then and send to my guests when we lock in a good price? I don't want to lose out on the resort that I want. Right now I'm leaning towards Grand Palladium Bavaro. We are getting married the week of March 12, 2011. How did everyone pick their resort without knowing what the guests will pay?

I agree with everyone. I hate trying to plan and not knowing what the price for the guests will be. I'm trying to use this year's rates as some sort of guide expecting some form of increase but hoping that a group rate may bring the price down a bit.

I too would like to lose at least 40 pounds before my March 2011 wedding. Since January 1st I've lost 7 but seem to be losing my motivation already. This has always been a problem of mine. Did buy a treadmill so I have no excuse to not be walking at night while I'm in front of the TV. I want to try dresses in September at the Wedding Show.

I just got an email from Pauline as I am in Canada and sent her all kinds of questions and specifics about what we need. I am in Ottawa and she is not. Has anyone used her recently? Has anyone had any problems using a TA not in your area?

Congrats and welcome. I'm a newbie getting started too and feel a little overwhelmed. I'm sure we will get though it and everything will be great.

WE are planning to get married in March 2011 and the only thing I've done is join this site last week and my fiance is designing out STD cards. He's a graphic designer so he'll be doing all the invites, cards, etc. I've also been working on my address list to send out the cards. I hope to have them out by March. I hate the waiting to and want to start planning. When can you get pricing for the resorts for 2011?

Hi everyone, I'm newly engaged after 11 years together and we are just starting to plan our destination wedding.
