When I came down to my top choices I went with the one that looked good and went with my gut. They will all have their positives and negatives so have alook at all of them and go with the one you can picture yourself at. Either one it'll be great.

Welcome to the forum. I would use a TA and just keep an eye on prices online until it gets close to what you want and then have your TA get pricing for you.

I think I'm going to get my DH a new digital SLR camera. He's been wanting one and this would be the perfect opportunity so he can have the camera for the wedding/trip and take great pictures.

I don't want one as I am asking people to take a week's vacation to be able to attend our wedding and we've been together for 11 years and don't need anything. My family tends to be traditional so they may put something together but hopefully they will honour my wishes.

I also think you should talk to her about it as it sounds like there are bigger issues going on with her right now and she probably needs you but doesn't want to bring you into it with so much going on in your life with planning the wedding. There is still plenty of time before your wedding so things may work themselves out before then with her. If she can't make it in the end just be sure to appreciate the ones who are and enjoy your day.

Hi Diva, We picked Dreams Palm Beach and had originally picked the 15th but the date is not available so we are getting married the same day as you. Who are you using for your photographer?

That is so great of you to be helping your daughter this way. Your requests seem to match those of Dreams Palm Beach in Punta Cana where we are getting married next March. I can't speak about the photographer yet but the wedding coordinator Melani has been great in answering my questions. You may want to look into this resort.

I noticed on Itravel2000 that on Monday the week price of our resort for the week we are getting married was over $3000 and today it dropped to just over $2400 so for those waiting, be patient. It looks like prices are already starting to go down.

Yeah, thanks girls. I feel so much better and spoke to my FI about it and he said sure, have uneven numbers. I can't wait to ask them. Now I have to think of a cute way to ask them.
