  1. I have one yellow tiger lily "real touch" hair flower from Enchanting Memories in Canada. It is kind of big.. hopefully you can tell from the pictures the approximate size. I didn't actually end up this one. $15 (this includes shipping in the United States, if you want more than one I can cut some off the price) I also have one other yellow hair flower from the same company. It's more of the common silk type material hair flower, and it's quite a bit smaller. I actually did use this in my wedding.
  2. I have the yellow real touch and the yellow silk left
  3. I used Enchanting Memories in Canada for my real touch hair flowers. I have seen other brides on this forum use them and the bouquets always looking nice I have white & yellow hair flowers left if anyone is interested.
  4. They are from Enchanting Memories in Canada. Let me know if anyone is interested and we can talk about shipping. Thanks! Stacy  Â
  5. I have white hair flowers - they are "real touch" tiger lilies. Kind of big - I have pictures below with my husband's hand in them so you can kind of see. Never ended up using them. I would like to sell them at $10 a piece. Â

  7. I got these to put in my hair for my wedding in Maui. I absolutely loved them - they were so pretty with my rhinestone veil and rhinestone tiara! They are pretty small - I added a picture with them in my hand so you can see how small they are. I don't think I have any close up pictures that show them well... I'll sell them for $25 (no extra for shipping in U.S.) Or I live in Raleigh if you happen to be near by!
  8. Honestly, there isn't a ton of places to go.. Our guys went to Moose's (they have great deals on certain nights) and a couple of other places. I think they will pretty much have to go to Lahaina because the beach places close pretty early. My guys rented a limo for the night that was fairly reasonable. Maui is tricky though with going out and partying hard. Our guys got kicked out of 2 or 3 places, and they weren't even really drunk. I heard one of the times they were kicked out was because someone was bumped and spilled their drink. They are really tough because they are more liable than most states - if they serve a customer to the point of being wasted and they leave the bar and do something stupid, the bar is partially responsible. As for the girls, if you're not wanting to drink all night - there are lots of nice restaurants. We did the same thing.. we just went out to eat on the beach at Hula Grill - there was live music and it was nice. And then we headed back to our hotel and hung out in my room playing games and having drinks.

We have 5 kids going and they're going to fall asleep on their dinner plates...not to mention all the pictures will be in the dark. Why didn't I realize this before?! At least you don't have the time change against you... I was in Maui - so it was really killing the kids around 10 and younger. I think they all lasted pretty well until 9 or 9:30 (Maui time, which is much later Central time!) They will be having fun - and will make it later than you expect. But I did run into this problem. I was glad that the restaurant gave them crayons and sheets to color to be honest - it kept them awake and busy until the food came! It was after they were done eating that they all were very tired..

That's what I had originally envisioned him wearing but I definitely don't want him to look disheveled in the pictures so I'm a little nervous about going with linen now :-/ We went with the linen suit. It did have wrinkles - but we just took it to the dry cleaners and it cost $16 to get it steamed. It took like 3 minutes. (this was in Maui) And he ended up loving it on the wedding day - he said it wasn't really hot at all (and he's ALWAYS hot). But if you don't want to steam the suit, don't go with linen - it does wrinkle easily
  11. It's driving me crazy... Everyone wants to refer to me with my new last name - but legally it's not changed because I don't have the certificate. Sooo still my original name on everything I sign or say. Married on June 7th -- have a while to wait yet.

I'm not sure what the pricing is since I haven't been there since they did some remodeling a couple years ago but the food was great and they've gotten great reviews since. It is also right on the water next to a great small beach that is always really quiet, we had a condo right on that beach once and there were never that many people there and it was an incredible place for pictures.~~~~~ Peter Merriman's ~~~~~ I was just married at Merriman's -- it was beautifull! The restaurant was pretty and the view was beautifull as well. The prices are kind of high with a large group -- there's a seperate "banquet" menu. I don't remember exactly - but we looked into it and the prices were higher than we were looking for. But if it's in your budget - very nice looking restaurant
  13. Oh my gosh - I just recently got back from Maui and I had to post a comment on accommodation. If you have the money and you would like to stay in Wailea, the Grand Wailea looked amazing. It's pricey... so we didn't actually stay there, but we walked around the grounds. Lazy river, a few pools, slides, rope swing -- the outside looked pretty impressive. But like I said, I know it's very pricey!
  14. Oh I must tell you that DUKE's was great!! They just opened this year, so you might not find a lot on them. I was just there in June. It was sooo perfect. We were outside - and they had an area reserved for us. It felt like we were in our own room. The food was AMAZING - everyone loved it. It was about $35 per plate - so very reasonable. Included salad, dinner, dessert, pop/lemonade/coffee. They were so accomodating. They checked with us before they brought anything out - we got ours first to make sure it was right. We also picked 3 alcohol drinks and let each guest have 1 drink. Staff did a wonderful job keeping it straight. It was Beautiful!! (no kaanapali beach) But if you're set on the other two - I know my family makes a point of making it to Leilanis every time they go to Maui. They just love it. But we have not been to the Plantation.
  15. I still have these for sale.. $15 each (this would include shipping) -- it would be less if you bought multiple
  16. I decided to go with "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts But I really liked Heartland "I Loved Her First" & Tim McGraw "My Little Girl"

  18. I read that if they own their own business it's not necessary - but if they work for a company or someone else, you should. There are lots of threads on this topic - you can search to get LOTS of info. That's what I did before I left for my wedding, and it was really helpful! My wedding coordinator didn't have any service fees, but she was her own employer. (All of my vendors were on their own and not employed by a company or anyone else besides themselves) She also told me that none of her vendors expected tips, and they all set their own prices. She said some brides do and some don't - that it was completely up to me and how I felt they did. With that being said - I didn't do very large tips.. just tips to show appreciation. I gave my WC $50, photgrapher $20, musician $10. I'm also going to write a thank you to my WC and send her a few photos. I'm also going to send a thank you to my reception restaurant because they were sooooo wonderfull the night of. Our pastor was DH's uncle, so we went with more of a gift than money.

  20. We tipped our coordinator and our musician. My coordinator took care of the flowers or I would have tipped them as well. We also would have tipped the people setting up and taking down chairs, but we never saw them - I'm not too worried since that should have been covered in our fee for the location. Tips were included for everything at the reception at 18% - I think we may have added something really small in addition to the 18% since they did such a great job... We brought our pastor - we gave him and his wife a $20 gift certificate to a nice restaurant on a golf course by the ocean for breakfast and we had a hawaiian gift basket delivered on our wedding day. My mom is a hair stylist and did our hair... so I can't help ya there.
  21. I actually don't have any pictures of it in hair Sorry - I didn't actually use this tiara because I had other things for my hair (veil, hair flower, starfish pins) and this was just too much.
