Island Bride

Ok, this is why I dont want to cover up the back of my dress.. I know a veil is see-thru but I still think it will take away from it. Here is my veil.. I tried to take a picture of it on me, but that didnt work out so good and noones home, but me.

Krista.Baird- Wherever you got that first picture did they have a view of the back of her hair? I really think that looks great! Thanks so much guys for all this advice! My veil seems to be one that you would wear on the top of you head cuz it has sides (i donno really how to explain) so I was wondering if I didnt like with my hair if theres such thing as altering a veil? to cute the sides off? All in all, I think I'm just gonna have to go to the hair trial and see what they come up with. We cant take this veil back either Anyone know of a website to get a plain tiny simple veil with no beading or anything? I've been looking and cant find anything! Thanks so much guys!!

I couldnt find a good forum to put this under so I hope this works. My problem is from the get-go I did NOT want to wear a veil because I did not want to in anyway, take away from the back of my dress. FI's mom was with me when I got my dress and found one that matched my dress and insisted on buying it. It was $150! So I almost feel like I have to wear it. Typically when I envision a bride I do see a veil. My mind has slowly changed and I believe I wanna wear a veil now. I just dont know if I have the right one! Ok, so they question is.. I'm going to do my hair to the side and I have long hair so it'll be down to about my boobs and curled (tried posting the picture but Photobucket is down for maintenance right now so I'll change this post as soon as its back up) and I have yet to see a picture of any bride with their hair to the side and a veil. Do you think this will look stupid? With the veil I have now I just cant imagine it looking good, but how do I buy a new one and face FI's mom the day of the wedding not wearing they veil she spent all that money on! Any advice will help!

MDLady- OMG.. thank you! I love them!! I had to wrap them back up because I was showing them to everyone that came over!! People have a hard time believing they are clay! They are actually hard as a rock, but you'd never know unless you touched them.

Lady Di- Arent they awesome?! I absolutely love them! Could of done without red, but FI loves red so I thought I would be nice and get his fav color instead of mine Wendyjd- They really arent that hard to figure out! People are just intimidated cuz there used to the old style washer and dryer so when they see my digital setup there like WTF? haha. And boyyy, do I wish FI did laundry every once in awhile.. or even folded a shirt to help out! You are a lucky woman!

Sammysgirl- Here is what the actual fabric looked like. She tried to put mostly the hibiscus on my collar and leash set. But really.. it is the perfect fabric for a destination wedding!

I actually had to buy that fabric from another etsy seller so I know she has more left, but I dont know how long it will last cuz its so pretty! Since I paid for the fabric FI thinks I should get the left-overs but there have been no talks of this, but I would gladly let you use it

Donutdjn- Im kinda starting to lean that way too. There is so much other stuff to worry about so I dont really have time/patience to go thru every song played by a steel drum to see what I want.

hmm.. I'm starting to think im getting ripped off! Im getting married in south florida and the photog lives about 30 min from my location so no travel fees and I'm paying $5,000 for 7 hours! 6 hours the day of the wedding and 1 the next day for our TTD. There will be two photog's there, but not at my request. I get like a dvd and an album with 100 pictures, but still.. doesnt this seem expensive? Some of these girls on this forum are paying for travel costs and its STILL cheaper than what I'm paying. Guess its too late now to complain, I already booked her :/

Oh and I also just got this made for my dog to wear while being walked down the aisle. She hunted this fabric down for me because I didnt like any she had. Seller Crazyforcollars.

So, I got the email today that my bridesmaids bouquets were done! Keep in mind.. they are clay... (the wraps are not done on the stems yet) these are from seller Fenton Florals.. and they are AMAZING!

wendyjd- you mean like these.. If so.. they are awesome! my family always tells me its my space shuttles cuz their so high tec. Noone can figure them out so I dont have to worry about someone breaking them

You SO just made me wanna go back to Disney with your last comment! Right before my wedding when all my family/friends arrive in Florida, we are hopefully taking my nephew to Disney! I cannot freakin wait!! What do you think is the best park for a kid (4 year old.)

Wow! Very pretty! Why couldnt you of posted this 3 days ago? haha. I was in a panic trying to find a size 0/2 dress for my TTD with only 1 and 1/2 months to go! I found one at a bridal store though for pretty cheap. Good Luck selling this! Its gorgeous!

Maybe you could get some kind of hanging letters of yours and FI's initial's and new middle initial and bling that out and hang it from the front of the arch! Just a thought.
