So exciting!!! I sent back my responses for the ones I knew and asked a few qusetions yesterday, but I haven't heard back.

Hi ladies,

I officially heard from Nancy with my official emial! I had a big weekend this weekend doing wedding stuff...starting to put together my OOT bags, wedding programs, booked spa appointments at the resort, etc. Next Saturday is my shower! It was supposed to be a surprise but my sister is flying in from out of town so they knew I would find out right when I saw her anyhow! I need to find an outfit this week...

Seeflowers - what do your two dresses look like??? Do you have pictures or can you post a link? I'd love to see them.

The dress I bought for my legal/church/home ceremony is the same dress I plan to wear for my welcome dinner at the resort. It's this dress in ivory.

I still have to find shoes and a shawl to go with it for the legal ceremony (it will be April 2 in New England...still a little cold up here!). For the welcome dinner I want to find some fun heels/sandals to change it up a little.  We booked dinner at the same place we got engaged with both of our parents after the legal - so that should be fun! We booked a limo and everything to take us from the church to dinner and back.

Nic - is this similar to a bachelorette weekend here in the states? It sounds amazing!

Well, dress fitting went VERY well last night. They actually have to take it in which means my dieting is working!!!

I have my dress fitting tonight!! I'm so excited...

I hope I get to see your wedding! We have just about the same amount of people - 33 total including Joe and I. How long will you be at the resort?

My dress fitting is actually tonight! I was going with the same theory as you (trying to lose a little more weight first) but my mom just happens to be an amazing seamstress (in her spare time) so I figure I can have her fix it up if a miracle happens where I lose enough weight to have to do so! However, I will be at the resort almost 1 week before my wedding, and with the all inclusive food I'm not so sure I'll have to take it in! HAHA.

We each have 3 people in the wedding party. For gifts for my bridesmaids I decided to buy their shoes, necklaces/bracelets and a $100 spa gift certificate at the resort for their hair or whatever...

We are doing OOT bags too. So far we have mugs, koozies and a bunch of stuff for a little hangover kit (advil, Emergen-C, lifesavers) as well as an "Oh Sh*t kit" (mini sewing kit, sun screen, pepto-bismol, purell hand wipes, pashmina shawl for the girls, deck of cards, mini first aid kit, etc). I'm a little worried about getting it all to Mexico and through customs. I asked Nancy if I could ship it to the resort ahead of time, but she said that previous brides had attempted that and their packages never arrived through customs. So I'm going to attempt to carry it all down with us.

Thanks! Wow, those flowers were included in the package? For some reason I didn't think they would be included...good to know. I am planning to do the Caprice package - we have 33 guests booked (including us). I think I am going to do the cocktail hour with the mariachi band after the ceremony (5pm ceremony) with appetizers, then a semi-private reception - and anyone who is still up for parting at that point, well I'm sure there will be places to go!

Any suggestions for fun bars at the resorts? I think I've heard of the Disco? And is there fun stuff like karaoke and dancing at the resort? What about live shows?

Well ladies - 2 months from today I will be getting married at RPRM!!! SO EXCITING!!

SCarp - great review! So exciting to hear that everythign went perfect! I have 2 months (and 2 days) until my big day. We leave April 3 and get married on the 9th. I'm definitely beginning to stress but hearing that it went so smooth for you makes me calm a little bit...

I guess I should be expecting Nancy to contact me soon, right?

Just answered my own question...a trial hair run is not included in the price. It costs $55 USD for a trial before...

Did anyone get their hair done at the RPRM? If so, is a trial run included in the price?

Thanks for the response! I travel for business all the time and feel like getting laundry done is usually pretty expensive...glad to know that it's reasonable there!

Question - does anyone know what the laundry situation is at the RPRM? Are there machines that guests can do their own laundry, or is it only through the hotel (which I would imagine is super expensive like most hotels are...)?

Also, is there a way to get my dress steamed there, or should I plan to bring a steamer with me?

Ok ladies...so everything is coming together but now I am having MAJOR second guesses on my dress...do I dare go take another look and become a two dress bride?!?!

What was her reasoning for wanting to get you to change to 3pm?  Why don't you tell them you've decided you don't want to pay for the private and see what they do? I mean, with 85 people you'll basically have the restaurant to yourself anyhow...

JRB - I hear you. I sat down with my Mom to finalize budget and look at how much we've already spend versus what to expect. When I picked a destination wedding I never thought it would add up to as much as it is.  Oh well. I am trying to find out from Nancy how much it costs to rent their sound system. Anyone know?

Also, does anyone have a good idea for a gift for my Dad? I got my Mom an embroidered hankerchief (thanks for the idea Lindsey!) that says "Today a bride, tomorrow a wife, forever your daughter. Thank you for teaching me to love with all my heart...[signed with my nickname and the date]." I need something small for my dad too...ideas?

Has anyone heard from Nancy lately? I emailed her a couple times with a few questions and she hasn't responded...she's usually pretty good with getting right back to me. Maybe she's on vacation...

I know I've probably read this a million times...but could someone remind me - is there an alcohol dispenser or mini bar in each room? How do they monitor the use or what is the refill policy?

And - room service is all inclusive too, right?

Those pictures were so fun. Did your dress get ruined? I'm planning to do a TTD the day after the wedding but I can't decide if I need to get a second dress for it? 

Also, can we just book the trips to Tulum right at the hotel? Was it expensive?

Also, does anyone know if there is basic shopping close to the resort?
