Chelsey - What are your colors? Picking my colors is about the ONLY thing I have done! haha! Boo - I hear you! We've been trying to get our contract as well.. geez! And I'm trying to just go with the flow and "enjoy the planning process"

Kym, I have an idea of what I want (Mikaella Bridal | Wedding Gowns - style 1414) But I'll just have to see how it looks on me! But I like that style! I've looked at a few sites so far that I've seen mentioned on here for the real touch flowers - one is Sharon Nagassar Designs and I think the other one is somebody named Shauvon?? I thought I bookmarked it but I can't find it! I'm a big garden lover so I really want real flowers, and flowers for my centerpieces. So I thought I could compromise if the real flower cost was outrageous and do realistic looking fake flowers for my centerpieces & real for the bouquets. Or would that be tacky? On the plus side... my TA has FINALLY heard back from Ana!!! YAY!!!!!

So I saw at some point the list of brides/wedding dates for DRC on here and it seems like there were a decent amount of Jan/Feb brides. I wonder where they all went! I hope some of them come back and post their reviews of it all! Kym - I'm having the same problem as far as the deposit thing goes & the same exact worry! It doesn't help that I have no patience and have trouble waiting for things! Congrats on buying your dress! Exciting! Any plans to post a picture of it on BDW?

Thanks for posting your thread about the invites Karen, I love them! Paperbagprincess - My FI is in finance as well and I've been having to justify the cost for everything! Right now it's the cost of of a photographer.. so not looking forward to the argument for invitations!

Ebernard - alot of ladies seem to be doing the real touch silk flowers, have you thought of that option? I didn't realize they charged so much for flowers because I havent started looking at that yet! wow!

Hello! Have you tried contacting a TA to help you look & narrow down options? I'm working with one and it was fantastic to have somebody who had some knowledge about all the options. There are a couple of travel agents on this site you could use Best of luck with your planning!

Wow! I'm sorry all of this drama is happening Luckily your wedding is in June so hopefully your two BMs will make up by then. And seriously - your MOH needs to get her act together! Your her best friend and she cant let some boyfriend interfere with her standing in your wedding!

My parents are also setting a number that is similar to what they contributed to my sister 8 years ago and are taking out of that amount the cost of their travel. Which is okay with me because I'm excited for them to be there But if your step-dad really is favoring his children over your moms then I understand why that would upset you
