These were done by Ginger with Serendipity - Beyond Design. I found her on etsy and have been working with her for about a month now and I am thrilled with how they turned out. They look even better in person! I wanted something fun and different and she nailed it!!

Hey girls.. my STD proof came in and they look awesome! I am putting together my mailing address list and I am a little stumped.. how is everyone addressing their guests on the envelopes? My save the dates are kinda informal.. so I wasnt sure if using Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smith was how I should address them. What did you guys do? Ps. Today is our one year mark!!! GO US!

I found some really cute beach bags at Walmart for $5. They are woven from a soft plastic type material which gives them a Mexican kind of look... just what I have been looking for! They are really light weight and since the material is soft and bendable I dont have to worry about them being damaged in my luggage. They are the perfect large size to carry everything to the beach.. and because they are plastic my guests dont have to worry about getting them wet or sandy. I was hoping I could buy them online so I wouldnt have go to several Walmarts to get enough but I didnt see them online, so looks like I will be visiting a couple stores this week. Sorry I only took pics of the white but they have them in all colors... yellow, pink, green, purple... and I think blue. I think its a great bag for the price.

Wow!! This is awesome!! I didnt think it was going to work for me but it did... I bought three 3-packs of listerine strips for my hangover kits for only $3.86!! This is by far the cheapest I have seen!

I wanted fun and bright beach towels for our OOT bags. I was so excited to find these towels in my wedding colors (fushia and green) and for 1/2 off! I found them at Marshalls Homegoods for $14 [reg price is $28]. The towels are huge and are a really good thickness. My fiance gave me the craziest look when he saw my cart piled high with beach towels. I took the pics with my iphone and the colors didnt show up that well... the pink ones are actually bright fushia and the green is a nice bright kelly green with lime trim. I hope our guests love them as much as I do!!

We will be using Cabo Flowers for our wedding. We are also using manzanita branches draped with crystals and scattered votive candles around the floral arrangements. I have not received a complete quote for the rental of the branches, votives, and vases, but my coordinator said Cabo Flowers can rent us just about anything we would need. I sent my idea board to my coordinator who sent it to Cabo Flowers to make sure they have the look we are going for. This is my example board I sent.

I was in Pier 1 yesterday and found some really cute diamond shaped bath fizzies on sale for .98 cents. I thought they were super cute to use in the OOT bags or bridal party bags so I cleaned them out. Just thought I would share my Fabu find.

Sending a card when the travel prices are released is a great idea! That way it kind of reminds people (like me.. who slaps the std on the side of the fridge and forgets about it) to check your website for the updated info. I was torn between passports and postcard STD's but I am going with postcards.. I felt like I didnt have enough information to include in the passports and what I did have wasnt 100% confirmed and set. I didnt want to give anyone the wrong information by selecting things too soon. It became stressful trying to decide on everything at once so I gave up on it... I think I will send out a passport style booklet giving a summary of whats on our website with the final details when my guests book their trip. That way those who are not very computer savy can have all the info printed out for them.

I was hoping to have mine finished and sent out the 1st of June as well. I was trying to hold off until the flight rates came out so I could update my website with the new info but since the rates wont be out for another couple months I am just going to send them out when they come in. Do you already have your STD's picked out?
