  2. Hi there!!! I would say the most beautiful course here is the El Camaleon course at the Mayakoba! I would highly recommend you take a look at Teed Off Tee Times (www.teedoffteetimes.com). Cheryl runs a central booking service right here in Playa and will be happy to organize your outing with transportation. She can also recommend the best course and is just a great source for golf info in the area! Happy Planning!

  4. Photography can sometimes be planned as an afterthought as Carly mentions, but you have to keep in mind that it is how your wedding day is immortalized. Memories grow fuzzy but pictures remain!! It is so important that you choose a photographer that speaks to you and captures your style and personality. Make sure you check out full shoots done by the resort team. If they are not what you envision for your special day, there are many other options in this area. I think most brides that choose outside photographers do it not for the price, but to guarantee their day is captured the way they envision! Check out the WIKI Choosing Your Photographer for more insider's tips!

  6. Hi Girls! I did a great shoot there not too long ago where the couple chose an outdoor ceremony AND reception! Here are some pictures from the actual day. You can see the Full Session on MY BLOG as well. PIERRE VISUAL STUDIO - Wedding & TTD Photography FACEBOOK Fan Page

  8. I love the idea of a private villa! There are some beautiful water-front villas available up and down the Riviera Maya. I would highly recommend getting in touch with a local wedding coordinator to help you put your dream wedding together. I did a shoot at Soliman Bay a while back and the villa was breath-taking.

  10. Congrats!! Blue Bay is a beautiful resort and very close to Playa del Carmen. They also offer regular shuttles that drop off in the fun north end of town so you and your guests can hop in and visit the city. Happy Planning!

  12. There are 2 big companies in the area that both offer private catamaran tours with open bar, snorkeling, and all-around fun: CataMaya (www.catamaya.com.mx) and Fat Cat (www.fatcatsail.com). From what I've heard both do a great job. They generally run their group trips in the morning so the afternoon private tours are more economical and you get the advantage of watching the sunset from the catamaran. They both offer different food packages going as far as a steak and lobster meal package. Hope that helps. Happy Planning!
