  1. Welcome! I'm sure you will fin all you need, I know I have congrats!
  2. I'm getting married in Cabo, we are doing our welcome dinner at one of the swim up bars in the hotel. When we went last year it was our favorite place to eat so we thought we would share that with our guests. And kina felt it would be a little original instead of doing a fancy dinner. I like the idea you had with the bucket of beer and tacos. sounds very fun. Good luck with your search
  3. 2011 bride! I feel like ours is a little soon, we got engaged December of 09 so I feel I don't have enough time to do all I'm wanting to do. So far everything I've got going it running smooth and I haven't had any bridezilla moments yet lol. Just wanted to introduce myself as a fellow 2011 bride.
  4. I feell the same. I feel awkward having people spend money on me, along with being the center of attention. The fact that they will be at my wedding is enough for me.
  5. There are a few places we ate at in Cabo that were along 20-30 pp. I went to trip advisor and looked up there resteraut reviews. That might help you out. I agree I would just say it's a group lunch, an not mention it has anythig to do with a wedding.
  6. You have some of the cutest ideas. I may have to use some of them
  7. I agree it depends on the hotel, airfare and what they want to do. It might save you money if you use a travel agent and use an AI resort. Our guests are looking at 2500 or so per couple for hotel stay and airfare. We aren't doing an AI so they will also be responsible for food and whatever else they want to do, aside from what my FI and I are planning for a group. (welcome dinner, whale watch and reception) So I would say it is up to your guests to decide how much they are willing to spend.
  8. love em! where are thy located at walmart? I've never seen them. craft section?
  9. what a great idea! I might use this as well. They have some chests at my local hobby lobby. They might have some at yours. or maybe you could do a shadow box picture frame and hang it on the wall, so when you get into fights you can look at it and remember the words you ha for him on your wedding day, you might not ever have to crack it open unless you just wanted too
  10. I just orered my FI's ring. I got him a tungsten one. He loved it so much he's already wearing it. lol. Great quality
  11. Great job! I'm doing my own bouquets/bouts. I hope they turn out as good as yours have
  12. I know! lol It was perfect for our original idea, the back was my favorite part. It has one of the long sashes in the back. So pretty. an if anybody wants any additional info PM me. thanks!
  13. I found passport covers for 1.50 at cvs and Kmart has luggage tags, 2 for 3.00 I think (?)
  14. Ebay should have most of what you need. Ribbons and stuff you can go to walmart, micheals the hobby lobby any craft store. I was looking on ebay a few weeks ago and came across little (ring sized) boxes that were zebra print that would be good for haning out to the guests or wedding party. Best of luck. I really like the zebra theme.
  15. You have come to the right place I'm another 2011 Mexico B2B I think that if it wasn't for this site, I would have NOTHING done!. good luck in your planning.
