Has anyone had experience with the fire dancers or cigar rollers at the Majestic? FH and I would love to incorporate both of these into our day.... just not sure if worth the money. Thanks for any input!

Hi there CnC~ You don't have to be in the DR for any specific amount of time before marrying. I am also getting married on a Friday and we are flying in on Wednesday. I think you will have plenty of time to plan and not a lot of time to be nervous . Then, you have LOTS of time to chill and celebrate after your big day!

Hey brides-to-be~ Has anyone received/found any info on hiring cigar rollers for the reception/cocktail hour at the Majestic? I have seen them advertised at other hotels... I am thinking o giving that to FH or Valentine's Day...he (and his buddies) would love it!

I totally agree with you!! I am on my 11th week... I lost 12 lbs (even with a Dominican Republic all inclusive trip a few weeks ago) and I'm seeing definition! It feels fantastic!! I love how you can see progress and reults so quickly.... it helps keep you motivated. Don't get me wrong, it is the hardsest hour of your day... but worth it! After I finish round 1... fiancee and I are starting back up! We need to look good for our wedding on the beach!

Hello ladies, My name is Christina and I'm from the Boston area. My fiancee and I recently became engaged (12/24/09).We began our relationship 5 years ago and have been to the Dominican Republic 4 times...the last trip, he proposed! We have always said that when we marry, it would be in the D.R. and it would be low key. We want something different....but not ridiculous. Our families get along so well and we thought no better way to start our marriage than being all together in this little piece of paradise. We are all so excited to start planning...so now we have to finalize a place and date. YIKES! My fiancee and I are thinking the Iberostar in Punta Cana...the first resort we stayed in the D.R. We were thinking of the week before New Years 2011. Any thoughts, pics, or advice are extremely welcomed and appreciated. I am new at this and not really sure where to start. Thanks~ Christina
