Does anyone else having this issue? Well, I don't live where I was born and raised so I am having two showers. But I am very social! So I was reading about not inviting people to your shower not invited to the wedding. Since I having a DW wedding I scaled down the invites to 125. So for the bridal showers, I only gave a list with women I wanted there who were also invited to the wedding. So, now both of my hostess are coming to me about people I "forgot" to add. Now I am having two mega showers. I am really low key but just social. I don't want people to think it is just for gifts. AHH!!! One shower has about 50 invites and the other one 45. The exact reason I am having a DW wedding way too many people to accomodate and not hurt feelings.

I think everyone situation is different. I am from New Orleans but don't live there. My FI is from another part of Indiana that we do not live in. My family is huge in NO. My dad really wanted me to have something in NO for the family. I really didn't care as long as someone else planned but me. So as long as I am not involved than they can do their thing. We will fly from JA to NO and stay ther a few days and fly home and be off a few more days. I know it is intense but I am a daddy's girl and want him to be happy. Also the only person from my FI familt coming to wedding is his mom(his second marriage my first). We are inviting him to them to NO party.

Thanks. I didn't know you scan and e-mail. We mailed ours and waiting to find out if she received them . Scanning makes me more confident.

I got quotes from them but they were a little pricey. I went with Jan's.

Hello Ladies, If anyone is like me when announced I was having a destination wedding I got mix ba of tricks from everyone. Unfortunately my family were the ones questioning my decision. My mom told me I should just go off and get married and come back because a DW was stupid. My dad told me nobody was going to be there. My FI just wanted me to be happy. Now that it is a few weeks away EVERYONE is excited! When I sent my mom a pic of the location she was in awe. She said it was BEAUTIFUL!! So to all the brides. Just know that it gets better. It just takes longer for other people to see it.

I get married in a few weeks as well. And people are just booking but I am planning for 20 and if more than come than I am not stressing about it. You can only plan for the ones you know a little extra.

WOW. There doen't seem to be too many March brides. Yea for the March Brides! You are probably futher along then me. My FI is just getting excited..excited!

I am getting married at ROR and using Micheal. I want to have a video but with my budget had to scale down the hours for pics. Should I scratch the video and have more pic hours? Or keep it the way it is? I have three hours now. I know we have two non-professional camcorders going and lots of other people taking pictures.

I only have for three hours but you may make me change my package. Thanks for the info.

I tried DW but my TA was pushy and did not take into account what I wanted. I end up using a local TA who is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were able to get better rates and I got to meet other DW brides before going with her.

I have very short hair. But letting it grow just enough that I swoop the front. I really want to look beautiful but myself at the same time. So I am going to stay away from extensions. All the pics were beautiful!
