  1. Matt, those are some great suggestions, thanks. I am probably going to give my FI a watch that he has his eye on. Alternatively, I might get him a nice underwater digital camera because we will be doing a lot of scuba diving on our honeymoon. If I could get him the gift he wants most, it would be a ferrari but unless we win the lottery, that is never going to happen.
  2. Wow, you're wedding looks amazing. Congratulations! Thanks for such a detailed review and all the pictures.
  3. Everytime I read these posts about the deals at Target, I wish we had one in Canada. I went to a Target store in Michigan when I was there a few weeks ago and was so excited to buy my Spanish for Dummies but they didn't have any. I will try again next time I am in the US, even at $1 this is a fantastic deal.
  4. Here is the FAQ thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...k-forum-32313/ It should answer most of your questions. It can be confusing when you first join but check the FAQs and the section dedicated to site navigation and you will get the hang of it. This forum is extremely helpful. I would read the information threads and give it a chance before you abandon it. You will be glad that you did.
  5. I am glad to hear that you are both committed to working on overcoming this. It is good to hear that your husband is taking this seriously now. I think counselling is a good idea and I wish you the best.
  6. I agree with the other comments. You should either pay for the lobster or not offer it at all. The cost is not that much (certainly far less than having it at home) and your guests will probably be impressed that it's an option. Alternatively, leave it off the menu and have it with your FI another night.
  7. It sounds like you both love it. It will be something he wears forever so if you can afford it, go for it. We have not looked at wedding bands yet so I can't compare price but FI wants to get a platinum band to match my engagement ring so I imagine it will be expensive.
  8. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the vendor responds and gives you what you paid for. If she won't perhaps you should make a complaint to the BBB.
  9. Congrats and welcome to the forum. You will find lots of Dreams Los Cabos brides on here and lots of information to help you with your planning.
  10. Congratulations and thanks for the review! I look forward to seeing your pictures.
  11. Thanks for sharing BlackCherry. I will definitely stay away from that store. SusieQ, I am so sorry to hear about your experience. That is shameful and disgusting. You are a gorgeous bride and you look beautiful in your dress!
  12. It sounds like, overall, you had a great time. Congrtuations on your wedding and thanks for the review.
  13. I hope it is everything you dreamed of. I can't wait to see the pictures and read your review. Congratulations!!!
  14. I love those earrings! They're fantastic. Cute shoes too.
  15. I am booking Dreams Los Cabos for my October wedding using a Canadian tour operator and we also have the sixth room free (based on five rooms double occupancy).
  16. Beautiful dress! I am partial to ivory. I would say hold up something white and something ivory in the mirror and see which colour you think looks nicer on you. Though I'm sure either would be lovely.
  17. Of those options I would say Old Spaghetti Factory as my vote is for downtown. I would also suggest the Jack Astor's at University and Front as the Old Spaghetti Factory is actually on The Esplanade so it is a bit of a longer walk from Union station.
  18. Wow, it all looks amazing! Thanks for sharing. Your photos are beautiful by the way. I love the ones in the cave!!
