bikegirl replied to bikegirl's topic in BDW Get Togethers

TORONTO *APRIL* MEETUP - Pickle Barrel Grande Yonge & Eglinton

So far April 9th has most votes but bumping this thread for other BDW girls near Toronto who haven't seen it yet. -
Girls in Toronto, are you using an online or offline TA? I need to fine someone who my guests can meet in person. However, I went to Flight Centre and first they told me they can't do anything for a 2011 edding yet (she even said I was looking too early...should be doing it 6-8 months in advance. Um, yeah right!) then she recommended their Group Sales consultant near me but apparently she's not in person, you just e-mail/phone her (defeating the purpose of using a local agent!) I'm a little frustrated.

Hey brides and brides-to-be, We recently had a Toronto meetup and it was a ton of fun! We enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to organize another one next month rather than wait for Summer. The location of Pickle Barrel Grande @ Yonge & Eglinton seemed to be ideal as it is connected to the subway and central. I am leaving the time at 7:30PM. We just need to decide on a date. If you're interested, please take the poll. Thank you! I think Friday works best - a winddown from the work week and leaves the weekend open for errands and other obligations. Can't wait to see you all again!

I have never flown Westjet but I have also never had a problem with Air Canada. Granted, I think a lot of other airlines may be superior in terms of services and updated equipment but I personally feel that Air Canada is dependable. Just by the sheer size of this airline provider, I know if something is wrong, ultimately I will be able to escalate the complaint. I guess I'm just old fashioned, but I also like to be able to get face to face service and Air Canada always has staff on hand. So you may get better service/seats with Westjet but IMO, I would choose whichever has the better price as it's not like you're choosing between a really good provider and a very unstable one.

^ No problem! It was so much fun after we all finally found each other (No thanks to those ladies at the front desk. Lol!). Can't wait to try another tropical drink (or two) at the next one! I'll post up another thread soon. Also can't wait to fill out my planning book like Sarah once I get closer to the date! Although I imagine mine will be WAYYYY less organized.

One last bump! Tonight's the night! The table is reserved under the name LINDSAY. C u there!

^ Really? But the packages for many of these providers generally indicate flight is included. For example, Air Canada is an airline as well as a vacation planner. If that's the case, the prices are pretty high. I thought when you booked packages, flight is part of the "package"?

PS: Sorry if I missed anyone! Pls remind me. I'm a little flakey this week...:/

She got rates for me from Transat, Signature, Sunquest and Air Canada, all had their rates available for 2011. We got what I think it is a good group rate with Air Canada and we are planning on using our free person after the 21st booking to fly out photograher down. Your TA should have no problem getting 2011 rates now. Do you happen to know how far into 2011 the rates from all those providers are for? I would imagine they'd have them out up to at least Jan if not Mar 2011 but I got the impression from past posts on here nothing earlier than 1 year out. Thnks!

!@#()*@($)!*@#)(*@!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, just had to yell a bit! I'm just frustrated with myself. I'm so wishy washy! Narrowed down to 7 resorts in Mayan Riviera and Punta Cana but I keep finding resorts to add back onto the list! *Sigh* Anyone else having this problem? I grabbed a bunch of resort catalogs, tore out the ones I liked and kept discarding pages until I found the final bunch. But reading threads here, seeing ads in the local travel pages, etc. makes me second guess my list! Having so much more time to plan is maybe not a good thing for me....as I'm one of those people who needs a deadline to push me into a decision. Lol!

^ Actually, I believe there is a restriction to sharing information. If it is a travel agent, then you cannot post it, even in the correct sub-forum...even if someone is asking for it (the situation mentioned in dragonsparks' post) since BDW has its own travel agents.

Looking for Turquoise Paris Hilton Heels
bikegirl replied to RaychelRae's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
Sorry, can't help with the search but WOW, those are BEAUTIFUL!! -
^ You have my dream diamond! I told my fiance when I'm older and earning more, I'm definitely buying myself a Canary diamond ring for the right hand! <-- actually, that's another reason to find an eternity band you can stack with the engagement ring. You get the other 4th finger free for more bling.

Because of the style of my engagement ring, I have to have a curved wedding band to have it lie against my engagement ring. However, my ring has a scrolling design on the side that I absolutely love, so I want the wedding band to have the same. The jewelry store said that there is a matching wedding band to go with it, but they don't carry them (they can order it in for me) nor do they have pictures of them. When I search online (it's a Penny Preville ring), I can't find anything about wedding bands! I'm starting to wonder whether they actually do wedding bands, or if the girl at the jewelry store is wrong and they don't. I'm hoping there is one to match it though, because I don't want to take away from the design at all, nor do I want to have a gap between the e-ring and wedding band. Here is what it looks like: Mexbride83, what about something like this?

I personally do not care if people buy/sell fake items but I do not want to see anyone unknowingly buy a fake item thinking it was the real thing. These are photos of the real one. I do not take credit for the photos. However, I do know this is authentic. I am a Coach collector and have owned a number of their items including the keychains. The real ones never come in the box shown. As well, the Coach font is always the same, their trademark - it does not match the one being sold here. There are a number of other identifying marks but you should be able to compare by the photos. In addition, I go to China yearly and have seen the fake Coach keychains as per your photo. If you check ioffer.com (a replica website) you will see the keychains similar to yours instead of the photos below.
