I have the same problem! My dad isnt alive either, my cousin (whos is like my brother to me) is going to Afgan next week and will be away until after the wedding he is the only other person I would have asked I've decided to walk on my own despite my mum offering to walk down with me. Â Â 6 months and 20 days until we leave, cant believe im now in the 6 months time area!! woo hoo!! Im finding it sooo hard to think of a present for MIL & MOB. My FI's mum is old fashioned wears alot of expensive gold jewelery (already purchased a frame for our wedding pic so thats a no) my mum is the total opposite and modern would probably like jewelery but then do the gifts have to be similar? Â My friend keeps warning me to get on with the DIY stuff as she said the time will fly by now and then i'll be rushing but I cant get motivated with wedding stuff at the moment... Baring in mind I purchased my fans around feb time and have only done 3 LOL Â

Thats so awful, this should be a really special time in your life not time for some jumped up TA to shout at you for wanting to know details about your own wedding!!! x

Sounds like its just your hotel still going to accept them! The other girls on here arent at the same hotel as me... Definately agree on the suitcase for the money - £1,500 is around 30,000 mexican pesos lol

Yay Roo glad it went well!! Congrats MRS! Â Â Mexico brides have you all heard about the change for currency? My TA emailed me and all my guests yesterday to say that mexico will soon no longer accept US $. They will only take mexican pesos, hope this doesnt affect the cost of our weddings etc

Girls we are now all around the 7 month mark!! how exciting!!! Â I think i'm going to panic when its 6 months!!! x Â

I can't rave enough about Carribean Warehouse so far. Â I had the exact same thing when trying to book my wedding a year in advance all the travel agents on the high street spoke to me like crap! Â Carribean warehouse were nothing but helpful and polite. At one point we got the advisor to quote about 7 different travel combinations he did not grumble or make us feel like time wasters. I also met some employees when I was at the wedding show in London they were really helpful and were actually promoting my hotel and gave me a flyer which gave me a free room upgrade! Fab! Â They always call back when promised, we all booked in April time and my FI's parents wanted to know the upgraded flight price but the advisor said this wasnt out until July. When July came they called and advised us that the prices still werent out but they needed no prompting to do this! Â Also I had some problems with my wedding coordinator taking long time to reply, I emailed Gemma within hours she'd emailed me to acknowledge my email and then she had an email fired off to the coordinator which I had a reply from by the next day! Â As for prices I'm not too sure as at the time I booked no high street travel agents did my hotel. They did however hold prices for me to allow my guests to book at a certain price. Â

I feel excatly the same! I want to start letting nature decide as soon as we're married but I also want to enjoy the rest of my trip (that includes drinking!) Â Its a tough one... and I dont know what to do either !

Originally I didnt see the reason to use a TA however if you want responces to any questions from the wedding coordinator in less than 3-4 months you need a TA. Â I could send 3 emails asking for a response and still wait 3 months, my TA emails and gets me a reply the next day!! x Â

Exact same problem!! My mum is only 43 and she looks about 33 ALL of the mother of the bride stuff is very "older lady" Â I am looking at maid of honor dresses and/or cocktail dresses x Â
