Lisa- Hopefully she noted down your date and is just busy with current weddings going on now. On a separate note, I will be there during your wedding (just 2 days before mine) and you may still be there while mine is going on Are you planning for a beach or gazebo ceremony?

Are any of you Dreams brides concerned about the rates for next year? We plan to work with Tammy (TA) to secure a group block rate, however, I have been checking out sites like expedia, orbitz etc...just to see what rates are like for the same time this year and I am getting a little worried after seeing rates in the $500+ range..Yikes!! I am hoping that securing a group rate will bring that number way down.... Some of these sites show a higher rate for Dreams than it's sister property Zoetry....

yeah I totally understand...I would give it a little longer and I am sure you will get a reply Are you looking for a date next summer?

Vness33- How funny we have most of the same vendors..so far! I have only booked Rev. Marco and DJ Ricardo so far. We are still deciding if we will be able to fly our photographer out or not. I am also working with Tammy who has been great and so helpful. When do you plan on starting on your group block for rooms? I told my WC that I was interested in the fire dancers but like you, this would be an extra that we decide on once we get closer and see how the budget is going. We just took our E-pics this past Sat so I am anxiously waiting to get them back from our photographer and get our STD's ordered! Progress

Welcome to the forum Ashley! I am a Dreams bride (June 2011). I booked my date back in February of this year so it was not a problem at all getting the date I wanted. However, I am seeing that there are a lot more June 2011 brides now so I can imagine that some of the summer dates are getting taken up. You can always send an email to the wedding team at Dreams and they can tell you if your date in mind has already been taken. I would think with a year in advance and a little flexibility, you will be fine Keep us posted on your future engagement!

LOL! Well glad you didn't spit, gag or choke...I know the last time I puffed on one of those in Cozumel I almost did all 3! Thanks for the info...I am def going to look into it with Yarai. I think the guests will love it...if they aren't too drunk!
